The battle for first place in the Apertura MX 2024 is as exciting as ever. However, we look a little below that to see a team fighting to reach the top four, Atlas, against one of the season disappointments, Club Am\u00e9rica.

The \u00c1guilas got some breath after winning the Cl\u00e1sico Mexicano against Chivas 1-0, but they are still outside the qualification spots, something outrageous for this team considering we are midseason already.

The Zorros have been excellent recently and confirmed it with a convincing 2-0 victory over Pachuca last Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on Club America?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Am\u00e9rica is the only team without a draw in the tournament, which is not something bad, necessarily, except for the fact that they have more losses than wins. Three wins and four defeats mean that the Azulcremas have more losses already than in the entirety of the 23\/24 Liga MX, including the Apertura and Clausura.

However, as we said before, they won their last game, thus achieving their first important victory in the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium. Andre Jardine’s side enjoyed 48% possession and had two shots on target, with Ramon Juarez scoring the winning goal in the 31st minute.<\/strong>

It wasn’t the best possible performance for a team like the \u00c1guilas. Still, it shows room for improvement, but they must focus on correcting their GD, as a -2 for a team this size after seven games is awful. They cut a streak of two losses in a row, including a 1-4 beating at the Cl\u00e1sico Joven.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on Atlas?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Atlas comes as the 5th placed team, with four wins in their last five matches, and they also added up points from two draws. <\/strong>These are excellent numbers for a team in low hours since their domestic double a couple of years ago. It’s still early to say if they are contenders again, but this match against Am\u00e9rica could be the perfect chance to show authority against a team in crisis.

The Zorros won their previous game against Pachuca at home. It was a 2-0 win at Estadio Jalisco. They had three shots on goal and boasted 56% possession, while Victor Rios and Jeremy Marquez were both on target.<\/strong>

Atlas is showing a concerning duality because even when they\u2019re in the fifth spot of the standings with a recent win, they lost during their most recent away match against Atl\u00e9tico San Luis (2-1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Betting Analysis: Club Am\u00e9rica vs. Atlas <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These teams couldn’t be in situations more opposite. While Am\u00e9rica was dominating the Liga MX<\/a> with an iron fist, Atlas was trying to not be the worst team in the league. Meanwhile, now that the champions have been showing a poor performance, the Foxes are showing signs of life again.

Considering that the Tapat\u00edos are a much smaller club, the numbers aren’t that bad. In the last 53 games, the Azulcremas won 26, Atlas 14, and there have been 13 draws. However, we have to go back to 2022 to find the last victory for the Zorros, while Am\u00e9rica has won the previous two matches.

Logic tells us that the last victory for the locals should be the starting point for a revival, so we’ll go with it. Our bet is a 2-1 win for the \u00c1guilas.<\/strong>

Go for a victory for Am\u00e9rica at 1.58. If you bet $100 at such numbers, you could get $58 for a total payout of $158.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
