A matchday 6 of surprises in the Premier League with a change of leader, as Liverpool is now looking down on everyone from above.

Manchester City failed to overcome Newcastle and drew with them, so the Reds took advantage of their victory over Wolves to reach the first place.

Arsenal battled to an important victory over Leicester, Tottenham crushed Manchester United away, and Cole Palmer scored all four goals for Chelsea in their win over Brighton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City is not the same as last season, and this Saturday, drew for the second consecutive match, this time against Newcastle by 1-1.

The Citizens took the lead in the 35th minute after a goal by Josko Gvardiol after a remarkable play by the defender inside the area. The equalizer came at 58′, after a foul by Ederson on Anthony Gordon inside the area. The same player was in charge of taking the penalty to make the final score 1-1.

City is now second with 14 points, the same as Arsenal and one less than Liverpool. Newcastle is seventh with 11 units. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cole Palmer was the hero in London after scoring four goals in 20 minutes to give Chelsea a 4-2 win over Brighton.

Despite that, it was the Seagulls who took the lead in the 7th minute after a mistake by the Blue defense and Robert Sanchez, which allowed Georginio Rutter, almost unintentionally, to score the 0-1.

Then came Palmer’s festival, and the Englishman, after 18 minutes, could have equalized after a great pass from Enzo Fernandez, but he was selfish and did not want to play with Nicolas Jackson, but to score himself, and the ball hit the post. Three minutes later, it was the other way around, but Jackson was not vindictive and gave the ball to his teammate, who scored strongly for the 1-1.

In the 28th minute, the second came from a penalty, while in the 31st minute, it was a great free kick. Brighton came closer after another mistake by Sanchez that Carlos Baleba took advantage of at 34′, but at the 41st minute, Palmer appeared again with a left-footed shot to the near post for the definitive 4-2.

This is the second time that the English midfielder has scored four goals after scoring in a 6-0 win over Everton in April this year. He even had the chance to score a fifth, but he miskicked after a gift from his opponent.

Chelsea is now fourth with 13 points, while Brighton drops to ninth place with nine and loses its unbeaten record. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another great Premier League match, Arsenal suffered a lot but beat Leicester 4-2 with two goals in stoppage time.

The Gunners were winning comfortably in the first half with very similar goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. The first was scored by the Brazilian after a cross from the right by Jurrien Timber, while the second was by the Belgian after a pass from the left by Martinelli himself.

But in the second half, everything changed thanks to a James Justin double, the first with a header after a deflection off Kai Havertz and the second with a great cross from the right after an assist from Wilfred Ndidi.

The game became very attractive, with chances for both teams, but more for Arsenal, who made goalkeeper Mads Hermansen the star of the show. And when everything seemed to be settled, and the Foxes would take a point from the Emirates, a corner kick by Bukayo Saka was hit by Trossard and then deflected on Ndidi, who could do nothing and put it into his net when the clock was already at the 94 minutes mark.

Five minutes later, in the ninth minute of added time and with all Leicester turned to attack, Arsenal had a counterattack that Havertz ended up defining with a bit of luck for the final 4-2.

The Gunners now remain third, but only one point behind the new leader, Liverpool. On the other hand, Leicester is still without a win and is 17th, being the team that concedes the most goals. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another great match, Ipswich Town surprised Aston Villa and drew 2-2 with a brace from Liam Delap.

The home side took the lead after 8 minutes with a left-footed shot from Delap. However, the joy did not last long, as the Villains turned the score around in the first half with a shot from Morgan Rogers and a header from Ollie Watkins.

In the second half, the Tractor Boys went in search of an equalizer and got it with Delap, who made a long run and a great personal move inside the box to the finish across goal for the 2-2 final score.

It is a very good draw for Ipswich that takes them out of the relegation zone thanks to their four points, while it was a hard blow for Villa, who could have finished the day as Premier League leaders<\/a> if they had won. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
