The start of Matchday 5 in the Champions League group stage delivered plenty of excitement, kicking off with Barcelona\u2019s commanding victory over Brest.

Arsenal thrashed Sporting in Portugal, while Inter also triumphed against Leipzig, who are enduring a dreadful group stage campaign, having lost all their matches. Although Brest had shown good form in the current Champions League, Barcelona displayed their dominance at home with a convincing 3-0 victory.

The first goal came from Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who converted a penalty in the 10th minute. The second was scored by Dani Olmo, who entered the box and fired a shot through the goalkeeper\u2019s legs. Lewandowski sealed the win with his second goal, a left-post strike, bringing his Champions League tally to over 100 goals.

Barcelona now sits in second place with 12 points, while Brest has dropped to ninth with 10 points. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inter has reached an impressive level in European football, and with a 1-0 victory over Leipzig in Italy, they remain unbeaten.

The only goal of the match came in the 27th minute when Lukeba deflected the ball into his own net after a rebound. This was enough for the reigning Italian champions to secure their fourth consecutive Champions League win.

Simone Inzaghi\u2019s side now has 12 points, while the German team continues their poor run in the Champions League, <\/a>remaining winless with zero points after five matches. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By halftime, the Gunners were already up 3-0. Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring in the 7th minute following a cross from Jurrien Timber. Thirteen minutes later, Kai Havertz found the net in a similar fashion, and Gabriel Magalh\u00e3es added a header to extend the lead.

Bukayo Saka converted a penalty in the 65th minute, and Leandro Trossard sealed the rout in the 82nd minute. With this win, Arsenal reached 10 points, the same as Sporting. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monaco regained the lead thanks to Soungoutou Magassa, but Arthur Cabral leveled the match with a header in the 83rd minute. The comeback was sealed by Mohamed Amdouni in the 87th minute, converting a cross from \u00c1ngel Di Mar\u00eda.
