A thrilling Brasileir\u00e3o season has come to an end in Matchday 38, crowning Botafogo as champions after a 29-year drought. They secured their third league title, capping off a remarkable year that also included winning the Copa Libertadores just days ago.

O Fogo controlled its destiny and delivered a dramatic 2-1 victory over S\u00e3o Paulo, sealed by Gregore’s goal in the 90+2 minute. Palmeiras, the only team capable of stealing the title, fell at home to Fluminense 0-1, courtesy of a Kevin Serna goal. With that win, the Flu not only escaped relegation but also secured a spot in the Copa Sudamericana.<\/strong>

Regarding relegation, Athletico Paranaense became the last team to join the group of four heading to S\u00e9rie B in 2025, alongside Cuiab\u00e1, Atl\u00e9tico Goianiense, and Crici\u00fama. They lost 1-0 to Atl\u00e9tico Mineiro in the Matchday 38. Santos, Mirassol, Sport Recife, and Cear\u00e1 will take their places in S\u00e9rie A next season.

The Corinthians striker scored in nine consecutive matches, tallying 11 goals during that span, whileVit\u00f3ria’s forward scored in his last four matches, netting 12 goals in his last 14 games. Luiz Henrique, the 23-year-old Botafogo midfielder signed this year for \u20ac16 million from Betis, was named the Best Player of the Brasileir\u00e3o 2024. He featured in 35 matches, starting 33, scoring seven goals, and providing three assists. <\/strong>
