Whether it is the Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League places, all the teams will play with all they have to secure those positions.

On matchday 29, we witnessed again the great season Nottingham Forest is having, beating Ipswich 4-2. Arsenal returned to winning ways against Chelsea, while City was left with one point at home after a 2-2 draw against Brighton.

Nuno’s Nottingham Forest continue to dominate, securing their third consecutive win and second in the Premier League.

The team’s victory against Ipswich Town, 4-2, keeps them in third place in the Premier League. Additionally, The team’s performance puts pressure on Arsenal, who only managed to secure 4 points in their last two games and now have no margin for error.

Forest’s victory was sealed by two goals from Elanga and one from Milenkovic in the first half, securing the much-needed three points. Despite late goals from Cajuste and Hirst for Ipswich, Forest’s Jota Silva also chipped in with a goal, cementing their win.

With their FA Cup match against Brighton looming, Forest is set to face critical matches that will determine their season and possible Champions League qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite initially leading against Brighton, Manchester City ended up drawing the game after a costly own goal from Abduqodir Husanov, putting their presence within the TOP 4 in the overall table in jeopardy.

This result was another setback for City following their recent loss to Nottingham Forest. The 2-2 draw was secured by a Rusanov own goal and highlighted by Omar Marmoush’s contributions to City’s lead.

Marmoush was fouled inside the Brighton box, generating a penalty, which was converted by Erling Haaland for his 100th Premier League<\/a> goal, and then scored again to make it 2-1.

Despite City’s lead, Brighton managed to get closer on the scoreboard with a deflected free kick from Pervis Estupi\u00f1\u00e1n before the break.

However, Khusainov’s own goal early in the second half led to a 2-2 draw. As a result, City now occupy fifth place with 48 points, <\/strong>creating uncertainty about their qualification for the Champions League next year, while Brighton occupy seventh place with 47 points.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brentford’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth extended the Andoni Iraola team’s winless streak to 4 games and left them 3 points away from European qualification.

Bournemouth have faced challenges in their last four games, suffering defeats to Wolverhampton, Brighton, and Brentford, along with a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite taking the lead initially, Bournemouth lost their advantage when Brentford responded with goals from Joanne Wissa and Christian Norgaard.

With 41 points, Brentford celebrated at the Vitality Stadium,<\/strong> while Bournemouth’s 44 points put them three points off the Conference League position,<\/strong> which could increase to six points if Newcastle United win their postponed game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arsenal head into the international break after putting Real Madrid on notice. Despite lacking a traditional striker, Mikel Merino has been excelling in the “#9” role, scoring his fourth goal in seven games to secure a 1-0 win over Chelsea.

The win makes Arsenal’s quest for a place in the Champions League semifinals easier.

Following their midweek match against PSV Eindhoven, Arsenal, knowing that Real Madrid will be their Champions League quarter-final opponents, triumphed over their London rivals with a goal from Merino.

The midfielder, now playing as a “striker” due to season-ending injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, converted a corner kick at the near post to beat Robert Sanchez.

Sanchez prevented a potential 2-0 lead in the second half by making a crucial volley save towards the far post. Although the goal-line technology indicated that part of the ball had crossed the line, it was not enough for a goal to be awarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
