Matchday 33 is history, and the teams in the Premier League are still fighting for Top spots. With only five matchdays left, this final stretch of the season is getting more heated.

Liverpool keeps their winning streak going, making it almost impossible to reach them. They are likely to go all out in their upcoming matches to claim an early crown after a superb season of 22 wins, seven draws, and one loss to date.

Arsenal may have slowed down lately, with two draws in their last five matches, but the team still has hope that they can catch up.

Nottingham Forest is likely to make the most out of the current momentum and try to end this season on the highest note possible, as a Top-3 finish is already a major victory considering their previous seasons’ results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everton was a tough team to crack through, as they put up the fight at home and kept things exciting until time reached the final minutes of regular time.

Nico O’Reilly scored in the 85th minute, and Mateo Kovacic bagged an insurance goal in stoppage time to secure three pivotal points for City’s Champions League push.

We have to give it to Everton, who seemed like they were going to keep things tied until the end, but sadly, their party at home was spoiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This match had an outstanding performance from Aston Villa, who came in and claimed a significant win in the UEFA Champions League qualification race with a 4-1 thrashing of\u00a0Newcastle United.

Ian Maatsen\u00a0and\u00a0Amadou Onana\u00a0struck either side of a\u00a0Dan Burn\u00a0own goal in the second half at Villa Park, where\u00a0Unai Emery’s team thoroughly deserved their victory.

Ollie Watkins scored\u00a0Villa’s opener in the first minute, which was quite a fast break, and we have to add that he could have had a perfect hat-trick before half-time, but he twice rattled the woodwork, with those chances coming to either side of\u00a0Fabian Schar’s equalizer.

Newcastle was outgunned, but they did manage to score once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arsenal had the chance to help solidify their second-place position in the table and deny Liverpool the championship for at least another week. Equally, the win to the top-placed team spelled the end of Ipswich’s brief time in the top-flight of English football and condemned them to relegation.

Newcastle’s defeat to Aston Villa opened the chance to move seven points clear of the Magpies with just five games to play. And it looked like it was all motivation for the visitors, who came in and steamrolled Ipswich Town on a 4-0 score due to the performances of Leandro Tossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Ethan Nwaneri.

Now, the team prepares to keep the engine running at full speed in the final moments of the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
