Things are ramping up in the NBA as we enter the Conference Semifinals, with only eight teams in total, and each side fighting to crown a Champion before both Conference Champions face off for all the Marbles.

The first match of this Conference Semifinals already took place with the Cavaliers and Pacers.

Boston is ready to go all out. The Celtics set the target on their second championship, and they will face the Knicks to advance. A dangerous Oklahoma City Thunder faces the Denver Nuggets in what we expect to be a close battle.

The last clash in these Semifinals is the meeting between the Timberwolves and the Warriors, which should be quite an interesting one.

The Boston Celtics continue to hunt for back-to-back NBA<\/a> championships and are the favorites for the clash,<\/strong> especially after they made quick work of the Orlando Magic in the first round, winning that Series in five games.

The Knicks could have a tough time ahead, as the team comes from a hard-fought series with the Detroit Pistons, which took six games to wrap up.

Both are very familiar with each other, matching up four times in the regular season, but the C’s have been by far the superior team, beating the Knicks in all of those games, and we think they will get things done quickly.

Oklahoma will be well rested and eager to get on the court, as The Thunder has had over a week off already.<\/strong> They swept the\u00a0Memphis Grizzlies\u00a0in their Round 1 series last weekend and have waited for their next playoff opponent for nine days.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets are fresh off a 120-101 Game 7 win over the\u00a0LA Clippers. The Round 1 series finale happened on Saturday. This means Denver only had one day between playoff series, and we don’t know how ready they will be for this clash.

Oklahoma has been a dangerous opponent all season, and we believe they’ll go all out to have the upper hand in this Series.

Unlike the rest of the clashes, we are jumping on this one in the 2nd clash of the Series after the Pacers took the advantage in the first game.<\/strong>

The Cavs must be concerned after the Game 1 loss. They sorely missed Garland. However, they must be looking deeply at their defensive schemes, which couldn’t hold on against the Pacers in the first clash.

However, we believe they will be adjusting defensively in Game 2, making a comeback in the Series.

The Golden State Warriors struggled on their last few clashes due to Houston going big with Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams.

The Warriors’ main issue is that they are tasked with facing a Minnesota team that includes Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, and Naz Reid off the bench.

The Timberwolves’ size will present problems, and unlike the Rockets, who lack a consistent closer, Anthony Edwards is more than capable of taking over down the stretch, so we believe that they won’t be having any issues proving their dominance on the first clash of the Series.
