Why Bet on the Raiders? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Las Vegas Raiders had a terrible season last year, finishing with a 4-13 record, but this year they started on the right foot, defeating the New England Patriots 20-13 on the road.

Geno Smith arrived from the Seattle Seahawks to take over a position that saw a lot of changes last year. The 34-year-old quarterback had a great afternoon, completing 24 of 34 passes for 362 yards and a touchdown caught by wide receiver Tre Tucker.<\/strong>

He was the second QB with the most passing yards in Week 1, only behind Josh Allen (394), and led the league in yards per attempt (10.6). On the negative side, he threw one interception and was sacked four times.

Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty, the Raiders\u2019 first-round pick in this year\u2019s Draft (sixth overall), winner of the 2024 Maxwell Award and coming out of Boise State, had 19 carries for 38 yards and scored his first NFL<\/a> touchdown.

On defense, safety Isaiah Pola-Mao recorded seven tackles and an interception, linebacker Devin White made his debut with 11 tackles, and the team also had four sacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on the Chargers? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Los Angeles Chargers were upset last year in the Wild Card by the Houston Texans, which is why this time they\u2019re aiming to finish higher in the regular season to avoid that stage.

They started on the right foot by defeating last year\u2019s runners-up and one of the main contenders, the Kansas City Chiefs, 27-21 at home. <\/strong>

It was a fantastic night for Justin Herbert, who completed 25 of 34 passes for 318 yards and three touchdowns. Quentin Johnston scored twice, while Keenan Allen added the other. Herbert also avoided interceptions and lost only 14 yards on the three sacks he took.

Defensively, safety Alohi Gilman recorded nine tackles, while linebacker Daiyan Henley had eight, along with one of the team\u2019s two sacks.<\/strong> The other came from Da\u2019Shawn Hand. On that note, it\u2019s worth watching Khalil Mack, who has 11.5 sacks against this rival in eight games.

Lastly, Cameron Dicker made two field goals and now sits at 93 out of 99 attempts. This Monday, he could reach 100 attempts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Betting Analysis: Raiders vs. Chargers <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Direct clash in the AFC West with two teams that won their openers, and while the Raiders showed noticeable improvement with the QB change making an impact, we believe the Chargers are the better team and will come away with the victory.

The numbers at <\/strong>Gambyl Exchange<\/a> have the Chargers as the favorite, with their Moneyline at -185, while the Raiders are at +155. <\/strong>

The last time they played was on January 5 of this year, in this same stadium in the final week of the regular season, with the Chargers winning 34-20. That season, the Los Angeles team won both games.
