Their closest chasers are the two Barcelona teams: the \u2018Cul\u00e9s\u2019 crushed Valencia 6-0, while Espanyol, the big surprise of this start, defeated Mallorca 3-2.

One of the teams that had a perfect record, Athletic Club, was stunned at home by Alav\u00e9s, who beat them 0-1, while Atl\u00e9tico Madrid finally claimed their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Villarreal.

Real Madrid rolled up their sleeves and defeated Real Sociedad 1-2 away, despite playing an hour with a man down.

Things started well after a poor pass from the defense that Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 took advantage of with his speed to reach the ball and finish neatly for the 0-1 in the 12th minute.

In the 32nd minute, things got complicated for the \u2018Merengues\u2019 when a foul by Dean Huijsen near midfield was deemed a red card after the referee ruled the defender was the last man.

Despite that, Arda G\u00fcler managed to extend the lead before halftime after a brilliant individual play by Mbapp\u00e9, who has been the star of this start to the season.

The home side pulled one back in the 56th minute through a Mikel Oyarzabal penalty, but it wasn\u2019t enough, and they were left empty-handed at home.

One of the big surprises of the weekend was Alav\u00e9s\u2019 0-1 away victory over Athletic Club, a team expected to be fighting relegation, against an opponent that came in with a perfect record.

The only goal of the match came in the 57th minute from a corner kick, when a Denis Su\u00e1rez cross deflected off \u00c1lex Berenguer\u2019s foot and changed trajectory, ending up in his own net.

The \u2018Rojiblancos\u2019 had their chances, but poor finishing and some fine saves by Antonio Sivera secured the win for Eduardo Coudet\u2019s side, who are now seventh with seven points. <\/strong>

As for Bilbao, they dropped to fourth place with nine units. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atl\u00e9tico Madrid finally shook off their poor run and defeated Villarreal 2-0, earning their first victory of the tournament.

After a defensive mistake, Juli\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez delivered a brilliant pass to Pablo Barrios, who finished first-time at the near post to make it 1-0 in the ninth minute.

In the second half, Nico Gonz\u00e1lez, playing his first match since arriving from Juventus, opened his account with a header off a Marcos Llorente cross to put the \u2018Colchoneros\u2019 up 2-0.

The \u2018Submarino Amarillo\u2019, who came in unbeaten, had several chances, the best being a free kick from Nicolas P\u00e9p\u00e9 that struck the post. They couldn\u2019t close the gap and went home with the loss.

Barcelona, without Lamine Yamal, faced one of its favorite victims in recent years, Valencia, and crushed them 6-0 with braces from Ferm\u00edn L\u00f3pez, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski.

In the 68th minute, Lewandowski came onto the field at the Estadi Johan Cruyff and took advantage by scoring twice in 15 minutes. These were the Polish striker\u2019s first goals of the season.
