The team that climbed to the top is Milan, who beat Lazio 1\u20130 and took advantage of Napoli\u2019s 0\u20131 win over the then-leaders, Roma. The team from southern Italy now has the same number of points as the \u2018Rossoneri\u2019, but the Milan side holds the head-to-head advantage.

Inter are now third after a 0\u20132 away win against Pisa, while Bologna failed to capitalize and were stunned by Cremonese, who beat them 1\u20133 on the road.

The team that did manage to climb the standings was Como, who defeated Sassuolo 2\u20130 and are now fifth.

Milan became the new leader of Serie A after defeating Lazio 1\u20130 with a lone goal from Rafael Le\u00e3o.

The match was even, and the Romans even had a couple of chances that forced saves from Mike Maignan. However, in the second half, a good team play ended with a cross from the right by Fikayo Tomori that Le\u00e3o struck first-time for the only goal of the match in the 51st minute.

The match ended in controversy, as a potential penalty for Lazio due to a handball in the final play was not awarded after VAR review, though it first resulted in a red card for Massimiliano Allegri due to an angry protest.

The match ended 1\u20130, and Milan now leads the league with 28 points after losing only one game, while Lazio dropped to eighth place with 18 points.<\/strong>

Captain Lautaro Mart\u00ednez stepped up when his team needed him most, scoring a brace to give Inter a 0\u20132 away win over Pisa.

The Argentine tried a couple of times in the first half, and finally, in the 69th minute, he opened the scoring when Francesco Esposito sent a low cross from the left, and Lautaro struck a powerful left-footed shot into the top of the net, impossible for the goalkeeper to stop.

The 0\u20132 came in the 83rd minute after a cross-shot from Nicol\u00f2 Barella went wide but found the Argentine forward arriving at the far post, where he dove to push the ball into the back of the net.

Pisa had their chances, but it wasn\u2019t enough, and they dropped back into the relegation zone with 10 points. Inter, meanwhile, sit third with 27 points, just one behind the leaders. <\/strong>

<\/em>Napoli knocked Roma off the top of the table in the Italian capital and claimed the Derby del Sole with a 0\u20131 win thanks to a goal from David Neres.

In the 36th minute, during an attacking sequence from the hosts, the visitors recovered the ball, and Neres took possession in his own box. He carried it forward several meters on the counterattack and laid it off to Rasmus Hojlund, who held it and then sent a through ball back to the Brazilian, who ran unmarked and finished brilliantly for the only goal of the match.

It was not a game with many chances, and Roma had just one clear opportunity in the 90th minute with a shot from Tommaso Baldanzi that the goalkeeper saved excellently.

Napoli are now second with 28 points, the same as leaders Milan, though they lost the head-to-head matchup. Roma, meanwhile, dropped to fourth place with 27 points. <\/strong>

The big surprise of the round came on Monday in the final match, with Cremonese snapping a three-game losing streak and defeating Bologna, a team fighting at the top, with a 1\u20133 away win featuring a brace from Jamie Vardy.

Riccardo Orsolini nearly opened the scoring just two minutes in, but his shot struck the post. Unfortunately for the hosts, the game quickly shifted in the opposite direction: in the 31st minute, a great pass from Matteo Bianchetti sent Mart\u00edn Payero through on goal, and he finished excellently for the 0\u20131.

Four minutes later, another superb pass, this time from Federico Bonazzoli, left Vardy alone, and he finished between the goalkeeper\u2019s legs.

Before the end of the first half, a handball inside the box gave the hosts a chance to pull one back, and Orsolini converted the penalty.

In the second half, a long ball from Bianchetti led to a first-time cross from the right by Tommaso Barbieri, and Vardy capitalized on the confusion and collision between the goalkeeper and defender to round the keeper and score into an empty net, securing his first brace in Italian football and his fourth goal for the club.

Both teams could have scored more, but shots from corner plays hit the woodwork. Cremonese even had a golden chance when Filippo Terracciano sent the ball over the bar while facing an open goal with no goalkeeper.

In the end, Bologna missed a huge chance to move within one point of the top and dropped to sixth with 24 points, while Cremonese climbed to 11th with 17 points. <\/strong>
