With the 85th edition of the Masters set to get underway on Thursday, April 8, now is a great time to offer up some expert golf picks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hint: I’m actually giving you one pick of the Top 3 ranked golfers in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some early favorites include Dustin Johnson who will be trying go back-to-back and win his second event at Augusta National Golf Club in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other big contenders are Bryson DeChambeau with power that could put him in contention for a victory as one of this year\u2019s top 2 favorite competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon Rahm tries to finally bag his first major after knocking on the door of a championship over the past few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dustin Johnson +800<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dustin Johnson<\/a> is the favorite for a reason with futures putting him at +800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check out these scary stats:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Ranks eighth in driving distance with 313.3 yards.<\/li>
  2. 24th in greens-in-regulation.<\/li>
  3. 10th in eagles.<\/li>
  4. 34th in birdie average at 4.25.<\/li>
  5. Third in scoring average with 69.6.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    DJ heads into this week\u2019s Texas Open fresh off a T28 finish at last week\u2019s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event. Johnson also finished Top 2 in the 2019 Masters and Top 10 in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The two-time major winner also finished T4 in the 2016 Masters and T6 the year before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Back-to-back Masters Championships are very rare, so I’d consider putting some units on the other hot contenders right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Bryson DeChambeau +900<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Ranked a solid 5th in the Official Golf World Ranking (OGWR)<\/a>, the 27-year-old California native has some impressive stats as well:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Ranks first in driving distance with 320.8.<\/li>
    2. First in eagles per hole.<\/li>
    3. Ranks seventh in birdie average at 4.67.<\/li>
    4. First in scoring average with 69.4.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      You might be saying why is this kid not the top pick? Because he chokes at Augusta, that’s why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      DeChambeau<\/a> has not finished better than Top 29 in his last three appearances at Augusta including a Top 34 finish last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      I’d stay away from this future, unless he has a massive break though, I’m looking DeChambeau to continue being intimidated by Augusta and The Masters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Jon Rahm +1200<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Jon Rahm<\/a> has recorded three Top 10 finishes in his last four outings and comes into this year\u2019s Masters fresh off a Top 5 finish in last week\u2019s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Impressively, Rahm has recorded three consecutive Top-10 finishes at the Masters by finishing fourth in 2018, Top 9 in 2019 and Top 7 a year ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      With six Top-10 finishes in his last eight tournaments, the Spaniard looks like a player with a great chance to win his first major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      There’s value in the line at +1100 (I mean $100 to get a tidy $1100 is a nice win). Of all of these, Rahm is my favorite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
