Starting on one weekend and finishing on the other, Hossegor, France will get to host an excellent event. This time, a ton of excellent male and female surfers <\/a>from all over the world meet up at the\u00a0Pro France Challenger Series.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This WSL <\/a><\/strong>event takes place yearly at the beginning of October

This year the event takes place from October 16 to 24, 2021 at the\u00a0Seignosse, Hossegor, in France.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Contenders \u2013 Pro France Challenger Series \u2013 2021 Surf \u2013 Men\u2019s & Women\u2019s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Top 2 Men\u2019s: Quicksilver Pro France:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  • Kanoa Igarashi<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Kanoa Igarashi<\/strong> is a 24 years old\u00a0Japanese-American surfer who has competed professionally worldwide since 2012.

    In 2016, he was the youngest rookie on the\u00a0World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT)<\/strong>. Since then, he had collected more Round One wins than any other surfer. Later he finished 2nd place at the Pipeline event, and 20th place overall that year.

    His greatest career performance was in the 2019 WSL<\/strong> CT where he won the Corona Bali Protected event<\/strong>, Thanks to that price he placed 6th place overall that year.

    As a top-ranked finisher of the 2019 WSL CT<\/strong>, Igarashi<\/strong> qualified to compete in the\u00a02020-21 Summer Olympic Games\u00a0in Tokyo <\/strong>as a representative of\u00a0Japan. He won the Silver medal in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Nat Young<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Nat Young<\/strong>, a 30 years old American Surfer from Santa Fe, California. He had his WCT <\/strong>debut and famously won the\u00a0Cold Water Classic at the age of 17.

      For a teenager from Santa Cruz, it\u2019s the equivalent of winning the Triple Crown as a local Hawaiian grom.\u00a0

      It\u2019s been eight years since Nat <\/strong>joined the tour, seven since he was awarded Rookie of the Year, and five since Kanoa Igarashi<\/strong> surprised everyone, making the Semis at the 2016 Pipe Masters, and knocked Nat off.\u00a0

      Nat<\/strong> is ranked 2nd on the QS and plans to get a victory. He’ll face his old rival once more in this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Top 2 Women\u2019s – ROXY Pro France:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      • Tatiana Weston-Webb<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Tatiana Weston-Webb <\/strong>was\u00a0born May 9, 1996, and she is a\u00a0Brazilian\u2013American surfer based in\u00a0Kauai, Hawaii.

        She was the only rookie on the WCT <\/strong>in 2015. Weston-Webb wears jersey number 9 and her 2016 ‘CT rank is number 4.

        On April 29, 2018, she announced her switch over to Brazil representation for the remainder of the 2018 WSL Championship<\/strong> Tour season.

        That to compete representing her native country in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo<\/strong>, a childhood dream she accomplished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Kirra Pinkerton<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Kirra Pinkerton<\/strong> is a young and energetic American Pro Surfer best known as a winner of the\u00a02018 WSL championship<\/strong>\u00a0held in Taiwan where she showcased her game talent amazingly to her competitors and game lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The young surfer has dominated the championships held inside the country and has won WSL North America Junior Qualifying Championship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          She proved that age is just a number and her skills, stamina, and hunger to win got praised by many sports critics during the WSL Championship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Things look bright for the young talented surfer as she gets ready for this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
