The Polish Jan Maciej B\u0142achowicz <\/strong>was born in the city of Cieszyn, Poland<\/strong>, on February 24, 1983, he is a mixed martial arts fighter who is currently part of the light-heavyweight<\/strong> category in the Ultimate Fighting Championship<\/a> <\/strong>and holds the world title of the category.

B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> has been part of the professional MMA<\/strong> world since 2007 when he competed in different important events such as the KSW<\/strong>, where he was champion of the light-heavyweight<\/strong> category. Following his UFC<\/strong> debut, he was the second Polish fighter (first male) to win a UFC world champion belt<\/strong>, behind Joanna J\u0119drzejczyk<\/strong>.

B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> is currently considered # 7 in the UFC’s <\/strong>official pound-for-pound ranking of the best fighters in the world.

On October 4, 2021, B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> made his UFC<\/strong> <\/a>debut at UFC Fight Night 53 <\/strong>against Ilir Latifi<\/strong>. In this fight, B\u0142achowicz <\/strong>managed to show his potential and beat Latifi <\/strong>in the first round by technical knockout.

    At the KSW<\/strong> event in 2007, B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> faced fellow Polish Daniel Dowda <\/strong>in the final of the event. In this fight, B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> only had 4 fights contested, that is, he did not have much experience in the Octagons. Similarly, in the 1:35 minute of the first round, B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> managed to defeat Dowda<\/strong> by technical knockout through a series of knees and punches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this fight, B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> started with everything from the first second of the fight, he was always on top of Tabera <\/strong>throughout the fight, until, in the 4:20 minute of the second round, B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> sent Tabera<\/strong> to the canvas with very good hitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        On October 4, 2014, when B\u0142achowicz<\/strong> had a non-UFC <\/strong>professional record of 18 wins and 3 losses, he was hired to make his UFC <\/strong>Octagon debut against Swede Ilir Latifi <\/strong>at the event UFC Fight Night: Nelson vs. Story<\/strong>. In this fight, B\u0142achowicz <\/strong>achieved an excellent victory in the first round, in minute 1:58 after a kick to the body and a series of blows to the face of Latifi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
