Columbus Crew lost for the second time in the season, falling to Charlotte FC 3-2.

Starting goalkeeper Patrick Schulte suffered an upper-body injury during warmups and was scratched from the lineup. Schulte was replaced by Nicholas Hagen, but things didn’t work so well for them overall.

In the first half, Charlotte forward Patrick Agyemang recorded two goals after the Crew got on the board at the 15th-minute mark when Columbus forward Ibrahim Aliyu found the net off a header. 

The match kept a strong pace, as The Crew made it even again at the 65-minute mark when defender Malte Amundsen capitalized on a free kick.

The tie only lasted ten minutes as midfielder Charlotte Pep Biel scored the game-winner goal from the left side of Columbus’ box, wrapping things up.

This one was a tough match for Inter Miami, as they were in deep trouble for quite a while against Philadelphia Union but salvaged a point in a wild 3-3 draw.

Philadelphia entered the night atop the standings, and they came in swinging, managing to hold a two-goal lead thanks to two strikes from Golden Boot leader Tai Baribo and a third from U.S. men’s national team prospect Quinn Sullivan.

Things picked up as Messi took over in the game’s final minutes, scoring a spectacular free-kick goal in the 87th minute before notching an assist on Telasco Segovia’s stoppage-time equalizer.

It was a fortunate escape for Miami, but the draw will serve as a boost after their side’s previous 3-0 loss at home.

Things looked pretty interesting as this match began, as it was quite a quick run for both teams to score. Minnesota took an early lead, only for Žan Kolmanič to score the game-tying goal at 27 minutes.

Austin FC remains unbeaten in its last four contests and salvaged a 1-1 tie. However, that meant that the action really slowed down overall for most of the match.

It is important to note that Austin’s goalkeeper, Brad Stuver, successfully defended seven out of eight shots directed at him.

The Vancouver Whitecaps claimed victory after a thrilling comeback, earning a 3-2 win while extending their MLS-era club-record unbeaten streak to 14 matches.

It was surprising, as Real Salt Lake came out on the front foot, grabbing two goals early on thanks to Zavier Gozo and Diego Luna. But the Blue and White responded strongly, settling into the match nicely and breaking through Salt Lake’s backline.

It was a “movie-like story,” as the Blue and White completed the comeback in the 90th minute, as Pedro Vite unleashed a beautiful left-footed curler that left Cabral sprawling.
