At Fiserv Forum, one of the best games of the third week of the NBA preseason will take place, featuring the Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Two of the league’s top players will face off: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Another notable matchup will pit the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Detroit Pistons, while the New York Knicks will take on the Washington Wizards, and the Indiana Pacers will face the San Antonio Spurs.

Even though we’re still in the preseason, and many of the players seeing action now won’t be on the final rosters, the outlook appears encouraging for the Indiana Pacers, despite having Tyrese Haliburton sidelined with an injury and losing Myles Turner in the offseason. Taelon Peter has shown good control with the ball in his hands, and it’s time for Bennedict Mathurin to take a step forward.

The San Antonio Spurs have won their first two games, and the good news is that Victor Wembanyama has looked very healthy, raising hopes for a return to the Playoffs. For instance, in his last game, he scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds in just 16 minutes.

For now, point guard De’Aaron Fox remains out due to injury.
