Now that we have our top 10 seeds in each of the conferences for this NBA Season, we couldn’t be more eager for the SoFi NBA Play-In tournament to begin, as we have the main six seeds from each side set, and the teams from 7th to 10th on each side are now battling it out to see who will make it to the Playoffs.

If you are not aware of how these Play-Ins work, here is the process:

Four teams compete for two playoff spots in each conference. They are the ones who placed on seeds 7th through 10th during the Regular NBA season.

Regular season seeds Nos. 9 and 10 play a single-elimination game, from which the loser is out and goes home.

The winner of the 9/10 game and the loser of the 7/8 game will play a single elimination game to advance to the playoffs as the No. 8 seed. The loser is done for the season.

So that means that we have six games to go to get the four teams missing for the Playoffs.

SoFi NBA Play-Ins: Magia vs. Hawks

It will be quite a fun match as the Atlanta team is the No. 8 seed, but they will be on the road in this matchup even though they knocked off a shorthanded Orlando team in the final game of the regular season.

The Magic, who finished on the No. 5 seed in the East last season, had to battle through some injuries but locked up the No. 7 seed in the East earlier last week.

Even though both teams split their four meetings in the regular NBA season with two wins each, we have to place our token on Orlando Magic for this match.

SoFi NBA Play-Ins: Warriors vs. Grizzlies

The Warriors missed two golden opportunities to obtain a safe ticket to the playoffs. They lost to a weakened San Antonio Spurs as their former Wing, Harrison Barnes, made a game-winning three.

Then, during the last day of the Regular Season, they couldn’t fend off the Los Angeles Clippers in an Overtime situation.

The Grizzlies slumped to the 8th spot as of the last day of the regular season. However, in this clash, we expect a basketball clinic from the Warriors.

SoFi NBA Play-Ins: Touros vs. Heat

If the Heat lose, their season is over. If they win, they’ll face the Hawks or Magic on the road, depending on who loses the 7-8 game.

The winner will advance as the No. 8 seed in the playoffs, but things are not working for the Heat, as the teams have met multiple times in the season with the same result.

The biggest reason Miami struggles against Chicago is the pace at which Chicago can run. The Heat played at the league’s fourth-slowest pace this season, while the Bulls were the league’s second-fastest—making it a nightmare for the Heat, and it will likely repeat here.

SoFi NBA Play-Ins: Reis vs. Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks not only lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in a 132-97 blowout at the FedExForum on Sunday afternoon but also lost their newly signed guard Brandon Williams due to an abdominal injury in the first quarter.
