DeMar DeRozan, with 25 points, boosted the Chicago Bulls’ victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday with a score of 101-91. The complement was the triumphant return of Alex Caruso after almost two months out due to injury.

In a packed Centro Unido, DeRozan once again led the Touros who, after ending their five-game losing streak in Detroit, chained their second straight win to regain confidence in the Conferência Leste.

Primeiro trimestre

The match began with impressive fairness, both teams were playing very calmly and with great precision. Overall, they needed this victory to continue climbing positions in the Conferência Leste.

After an excellent first quarter, the Touros managed to take the partial victory with a score of 24-22, supported by the 8 points scored by DeRozan and the 7 scored by Vucevic. Por outro lado, o Cavaleiros had the ruthless offense of Evan Mobley, who scored 11 of Cleveland’s 22 points.

The second quarter was the one that ultimately gave definitive figures to this game, since, again DeRozan with 9 points, managed to be the spark plug for Chicago so that they could also win the second quarter with a score of 29-20. Therefore, the game went to rest with a 53-42 advantage for the Touros sobre o Cavs.

Segundo tempo

The third quarter was one of the best of the game. Both teams came out to kill or die to try to put their team ahead on the scoreboard, but the fairness they were showing was impressive and they ended the third quarter tied at 24 points. In other words, the difference of 11 points with which the Touros went into the break was maintained.
