Matchday 24 of the Brasileirão is history, and we enjoyed some intense and exciting matches.
In this second half of the season, everything seems to indicate that Botafogo is dropping in performance, as, currently, only 7 points separate them from Palmeiras and 8 from Gremio. In addition, the team has lost 3 games in a row, which gives the rest of the teams confidence to fight for the top of the table.
Palmeiras has been unable to take advantage of this drop in performance, as they also lost on matchday 24. However, Gremio won again and is now on the table’s edge.
Bragantino is still in great form after winning for the third time in their last four games, as are Atlético Mineiro and Fortaleza. Finally, Coritiba and América-MG seem to have resigned themselves and will most likely be two of the four relegated to the second division.

The day’s first match brought an excellent victory for Bragantino against America-MG by 2-0. There is no doubt that America is sinking further and further down the table while Bragantino continues to demonstrate its high level of play and ability to play under pressure.

Goiás and Flamengo gave us one of the most boring matches of this 24th matchday of the Brasileirão Serie A, as the teams did not have the disposition to seek victory and, since halftime, we could see how they ‘settled’ for a draw.
Both the first and second halves of the match were marked by long possessions by Flamengo, but without generating any danger in the Goias area. So much so that, despite having 66% possession of the ball, Flamengo shot at goal on only 2 occasions.

Finally, we had a really interesting match between Corinthians and Botafogo, where the locals threw a blow on the table to defeat the leaders, Botafogo, who lost for the third consecutive time.
