With the absence of more than half of the Big Six, the Premier League matchday 34 concluded with Liverpool and Arsenal overtaking the lead for now, as both obtained convincing results visiting midtable teams.

Arsenal decided to make things swift and clear, by keeping the Wolves at bay during each set of 45 minutes and scoring one on each half.
The first was by Leandro Trossard in the 45th minute to get a healthy lead going into half time, and then keeping their opponents at bay for the second only to have Martin Odegaard score the second in the 5th minute of added time in the second half.
With this, Arsenal made a clear statement, retaining the top of the scoreboard for the weekend and preparing for their next upcoming match as the time is running out, and they have a clear shot at crowning themselves.

Crystal Palace came in better form into this match over West Ham, and being hosts was going to play in their favor, but it was hard to expect such a beating to take place once both teams got on the field.
Things were supposed to be tight when the two teams faced each other, but Palace decided to take an early lead, scoring in the 7th, 16th, and 31st minute, adding to that, Emerson Palmieri got an Own Goal on the 20th, putting the lead on a 4 – 0 before West Ham scored their first on the 40th minute.
In the 2nd half, Crystal Palace got a second from Jean-Philippe Mateta on the 64th, and Dean Henderson scored an Own Goal to leave the match on a 5-2 score in favor of the hosts.
