Serie A is delivering plenty of excitement this season, and after Matchday 11, there’s another change at the top, this time with Inter taking the lead.

The ‘Nerazzurri’ climbed to first place after defeating Lazio 2-0, though Roma, who also won 2-0 against Udinese, sits level on points with them.

The big loser of the weekend was Napoli, which fell 2-0 to Bologna and dropped from first to fourth place.

Meanwhile, Milan were held to a draw by Parma, missing the chance to move up alongside their city rivals.

Another highlight was the Turin Derby, which ended 0-0. There were three goalless draws in total, and only one away team, Sassuolo, managed to win.

Milan failed to take advantage of Napoli’s slip-up and drew 2-2 with Parma, dropping to third place in the standings.

The ‘Rossoneri’ couldn’t capitalize on playing against a team in the relegation zone, even after taking an early lead; they were up 0-2 just 25 minutes in. Alexis Saelemaekers opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a fine left-footed strike from outside the box, and Rafael Leão doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 25th minute.

However, just before halftime, Adrián Bernabé fired a stunning goal into the top corner to pull one back and bring Parma back into the game.

In the second half, Mateo Pellegrino hit the post with a header in the 61st minute, and just a minute later, the same play worked again, a cross from Sascha Britschgi found Enrico Del Prato, whose header found the back of the net for the 2-2 equalizer.

Both sides had chances to win it, especially Milan through Saelemaekers on a counterattack, but couldn’t convert. The draw leaves the ‘Rossoneri’ in third place, two points behind the leaders, while Parma sit 17th, just one point above the relegation zone.

Result: Parma 2-2 Milan

Bologna pulled off one of the biggest surprises of the weekend by defeating the league leaders Napoli 2-0, knocking them off the top spot and closing in on first place.

The home side was superior throughout the match and created the better chances, finally breaking the deadlock in the 50th minute. Nicolo Cambiaghi made a run down the left and delivered a cross that Thijs Dallinga met first-time with the outside of his foot to make it 1-0.

In the 66th minute, Colombian defender Jhon Lucumí rose above everyone again, and this time his header was on target, doubling Bologna’s lead. The hosts continued to control the game comfortably and secured a well-deserved victory.

With this loss, Napoli dropped from first to fourth place, two points behind Inter and just one ahead of Bologna, who climbed to fifth.

One of the highlights of the match was the debut of 17-year-old goalkeeper Massimo Pessina, who came on in the eighth minute after Lukasz Skorupski was forced off with an injury.

The ‘Lupa’ bounced back from their loss to Milan and secured the win with goals from Lorenzo Pellegrini and Zeki Çelik.

The first came in the 42nd minute from a penalty kick, while the second was a well-placed strike by the Turkish midfielder in the 61st minute after a great combination with Gianluca Mancini.

Udinese had their chances, but poor finishing, the post, and an excellent performance from Mile Svilar kept them scoreless. Roma now sits level with Inter at the top on 24 points, though the Milan side holds the head-to-head advantage. Meanwhile, the ‘Bianconeri’ are in 10th place with 15 points.
