O Caparica Surf Fest Pro O evento regressa para o seu sexto ano com eventos QS3.000 masculinos e QS1.000 femininos, de 18 a 23 de maio de 2021, em Portugal.
Este tornou-se o epicentro do surf europeu com mais eventos todos os anos, por isso é lógico que o tour recomeçasse lá após um hiato de um ano devido à pandemia de Covid-19.
The surfers from the Old Continent will head to the shores of Caparica following Santa Cruz to get things going again in continental Europe.
Let’s review the Latin Americans who will seek to take first place in the Caparica Surf Fest Pro 2021:
Caina Souza: The 29 year old Brazilian athlete with more than 10 years of career in the professional world of Surfing, where he currently occupies the position 527 in the classification in the male category. His last presentation was at the beginning of May of this year, where he was eliminated in the round of 64, defeated by the French Thomas Ledee with a score of 5.10, where he managed to have a record of 180 points in favor and ranked 49th in the competition. In this Caparica Surf Fest Pro, he will enter the competition from the round of 96.
Lucas Silveira: Another representative of Latin America in the Caparica Surf Fest Pro 2021, who debuted ten years ago in the world of professional surfing, where he currently occupies the 106th position in the classification of the men’s category. His last presentation was just days ago where he managed to reach the 5th place of the event, falling defeated with a score of 12.37 against 14.66 obtained by the French Gaspard Larsonneur. The Brazilian will begin his journey in the competition from the round of 112.
Elle Sampiere: The American Sampiere will be the American representative in the Women’s category within the event to be disputed from May 18 to 23 on the beaches of Caparica. The competitor started in 2016 in the world of Surfing, where she will reach the qualifying series after having placed 25th in the event disputed this year, which is why during the Caparica she will seek to advance from the first round of 48 in the women’s category.

The event is held on the coast of Caparica, located just south of the capital city of Lisbon.
The competition will be held from May 18 to 23, and has been held for six years with QS3,000 events in the men’s category, and QS1,000 for the women. The event can be followed on the World Surf League website.
