In each day that passes of the 2022 season of the Brasileirão Série A, we have been able to observe how the teams have each shown their respective weapons in the games they have played and, therefore, we are not surprised by the quality that there is at the moment in the Brazilian soccer.
Although the flight of talent has been the main problem in Brazilian soccer, where the young promises decide to emigrate to Europe where the best leagues in the world are, in recent years we have seen how many soccer players decide to stay at home to have professional experience, while others go to Europe for astronomical fees by American standards, making it easier for Brazilian teams to form winning projects.
With 10 games played, we can say that there is no longer a team that is the favorite to finish in the first place. There is a very nice battle between various teams to be at the top of the standings and, right now, any of them could be leading the championship.

The current leader of the Brazilian Championship, Coríntios, suffered an unexpected defeat this Tuesday, June 7 against Cuiabá com um placar de 0-1. Cuiabá with this victory takes the oxygen that seems to be lacking to get out of the bottom of the table.
Coríntios became the owner of the ball and the match, generating several scoring chances in the first half that they could not finish with a shot inside the rival goal. While their rivals took advantage of a ball served through their left side, Uendel Pereira (former Corinthians) shot from outside the area and beat the Corinthians goalkeeper.
So much was the frustration of the coach after this goal that he made 4 substitutions for the start of the second half, something that Coríntios had never done since the 5 substitutions were implemented in previous years. After the defeat of Coríntios last Tuesday, the table was set for Atlético Mineiro to storm first place in the standings, but they did not count on a fast-paced offensive from Fluminense who, after two consecutive defeats, unloaded a gale of goals last Wednesday to beat them with a score of 5-3.
Fluminense respected their home, the mythical Maracanã Stadium, and beat up the opposition, thanks to goals from Colombian Jhon Arias, Argentine Germán Cano (x2), Samuel Xavier, and Luiz Henrique.
Fluminense started the match with goals in the 18th and 29th minutes. Hulk managed to pull one back in the 35th, but two minutes later, Samuel Xavier scored the third. Jair Rodrigues Junior scored his team’s second goal before the end of the first half (45+4′).
Com apenas 9 minutos jogados no segundo tempo, o Mineiro empatou o placar em 3 a 3 graças ao gol de Eduardo Sasha, mas a alegria durou apenas 4 minutos, já que Germán Cano marcou seu segundo gol da noite para devolver a vantagem aos locais. Palmeiras continua a mostrar que já está no seu mais alto nível competitivo, depois de uma excelente vitória na última quinta-feira contra Botafogo, com um resultado esmagador de 4-0. One of the closest matches we had on day 10 of the Brazilian championship was, without a doubt, this one between Coritiba and São Paulo. And everything we expected from this match, both teams proved it, since they ended with a 1-1 draw in what was one of the best matches they have played so far in the tournament.
The match started in the best possible way for São Paulo, since, just 4 minutes after the initial whistle, they managed to open the scoring thanks to a goal from Jonathan Calleri. From then on, São Paulo grew and little by little generated more scoring opportunities, but the lack of effectiveness of their forwards, together with Coritiba’s excellent defensive display, prevented them from scoring another goal.
Na segunda metade, Coritiba came out determined to match the actions and did so in the 59th minute, after a very good goal by Alef Manga.
This tie is the fourth in a row for São Paulo and places it in sixth place in the table with 15 points, only 4 from first place. While Coritiba is also with 15 points, but in fifth place in the table because they have won 4 games.
