A NFL acaba de encerrar a rodada Divisional, que aconteceu entre os dias 21 e 22 de janeiro, começando no sábado com Chiefs x Jaguars e Eagles x Giants, e terminando no domingo com as partidas entre Bills x Bengals e 49ers. contra vaqueiros.
Essas partidas marcariam os confrontos pelos Campeonatos Divisionais da AFC e da NFC, que levariam então ao confronto dos campeões, caso todos conhecemos e amamos, o Superbowl.
Qualquer jogo de playoff é uma partida de eliminação direta, portanto não há segundas chances ou renovações. Quem vencer passa para a próxima fase, e o outro faz as malas e começa a se preparar para a próxima temporada.

The Kansas City Chiefs have punched their ticket to the AFC Championship Game for the fifth straight season, as Andy Reid’s squad defeated Doug Pederson and the Jacksonville Jaguars, 27-20.
Patrick Mahomes suffered an ankle injury toward the end of the first quarter after taking a low hit. He missed one drive, but shook off the pain and returned in the second half to lead Kansas City to victory.
Mahomes becomes the first quarterback in NFL history to lead his team to five conference championship games before turning 30 years old, while the Chiefs will become the third team to make five straight conference championship games, matching the Oakland Raiders from the 1970s and the 2011-18 New England Patriots.
With the victory, Andy Reid now joins Bill Belichick (31) and Tom Landry (20) as the only coaches with 20 postseason wins.

The Bengals, in pursuit of a second consecutive Super Bowl berth, punched their ticket to Kansas City next Sunday after posting a 27-10 victory over the Bills in the AFC divisional round.
Facing the Bills, a hostile crowd, and constant snowfall, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was unflappable.
He threw two touchdowns in the first half as the Bengals took a 17-7 halftime lead. Burrow had plenty of help from Joe Mixon, whose 1-yard touchdown stretched Cincinnati’s lead to 24-10 heading into the fourth quarter.
Cincinnati’s defense contributed to the win by dominating Buffalo’s offense for large stretches of the game.
The Bengals flustered Josh Allen for most of the game while limiting Stefon Diggs to just 35 yards on four catches.
Fittingly, Cincinnati iced the win when rookie defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt picked off Allen deep in Bengals territory with one minute left.

It was an ugly, back-and-forth struggle for all 60 minutes and as expected, the 49ers did what they have done in each of their previous divisional round showdowns: done what they needed to do to advance to the NFC Championship Game, this time winning by a 19-12 score.
It’s a historical result as rookie Brock Purdy will now become the fourth quarterback drafted in the 6th round or later, or undrafted, to reach a Conference Championship in his 1st season as a starter, joining Dieter Brock (1985 ), Kurt Warner (1999), and Tom Brady (2001).
