The penultimate official event of the PGA Tour has arrived, the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, featuring several players ranked inside the Top 100 and promising plenty of excitement.

The tournament will take place at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton Parish, Bermuda, from November 13 to 16. The course measures 6,828 yards and plays as a par 71.

This will be the seventh edition of the event, which last year crowned Puerto Rican golfer Rafael Campos as champion. No player has ever won this tournament twice, and the United States remains the only country with two winners in the first two editions.

One of the highest-ranked players in the tournament is Rico Hoey. The 30-year-old Filipino golfer is still searching for his first PGA Tour title after earning five Top 10 finishes, including a runner-up result.

He finished second a month ago at the Bank of Utah Championship, four strokes behind Michael Brennan. In October, he also competed in the Baycurrent Classic, where he placed fourth, and recently finished 21st at the World Wide Technology Championship. Last year, he played on this same course, finishing 17th.

Taiwan’s Kevin Yu is another strong contender for the trophy. The 27-year-old golfer won the 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship, finished third at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open in June, and fourth at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic in May.

He didn’t perform well at the World Wide Technology Championship, failing to make the cut, but he did finish third in this same tournament back in 2022.This will be his fourth appearance here, giving him valuable experience on this course.

He started the year strong, finishing second at the Sony Open in Hawaii after losing in a playoff to Nick Taylor. Although his form dipped afterward, he recorded two more Top 10 finishes during the season—the most recent being ninth at last month’s Baycurrent Classic—and he placed 14th at the World Wide Technology Championship.

Michael Brennan received a sponsor exemption to participate in the Bank of Utah Championship and delivered a dominant victory, winning by four strokes. It was an outstanding debut for the 23-year-old American in his first-ever PGA Tour event, though he couldn’t replicate that success at the World Wide Technology Championship, where he finished 59th.

One of the veterans in the field who is still searching for his first PGA Tour title is Thorbjørn Olesen. The 35-year-old Dane recently played his 100th PGA Tour event, finishing 14th at the World Wide Technology Championship. A few weeks earlier, he had placed third at the Bank of Utah Championship, marking his third Top 10 finish of the season.

Patrick Rodgers has played over 300 tournaments but is also still chasing his first PGA Tour win. The 33-year-old American has recorded two Top 10 finishes this year: third at The Genesis Invitational and sixth last weekend at the World Wide Technology Championship. He’s competed in this tournament five times, finishing 4th, 3rd, and 9th over the past three years, respectively.
