In the passing game, A.J. Brown was essentially the only reliable option. He caught 10 passes and scored the team’s two touchdowns, both coming in the second half.

Hurts finished 19-of-34 for 230 yards but threw an interception—his first since October 9 and only his second of the season.

There’s a curious pattern in Philadelphia’s season: they started with four straight wins, then lost two in a row, and Hurts was intercepted in that second loss. They followed with another four-game winning streak, then dropped two consecutive games again, and once more, Hurts threw an interception in that second defeat.

It will be an interesting matchup, but whether Herbert plays or not is the key factor. It’s completely different to compete with your starting quarterback or with the backup, and even if the surgery on his hand was minor, it’s hard to believe he’ll recover in just one week.
