The UEFA Champions League round of 16 has concluded. We now know the eight teams still alive in their fight for this season’s crown: Benfica, Chelsea, Bayern, Milan, Inter, Manchester City, Napoli, and Real Madrid.
Tivemos muitas partidas nestas oitavas de final e embora os times favoritos tenham sido os que se classificaram, houve alguma tensão e dúvidas sobre o que estava acontecendo nas partidas.
No entanto, vimos uma equipa do Manchester City fazer com que o seu estádio fosse respeitado e esmagar o Leipzig. O Bayern fez o mesmo contra o PSG, que voltou a falhar na Liga dos Campeões. Por fim, o Real Madrid eliminou uma equipa do Liverpool que tem estado muito irregular nesta temporada.
Benfica e Inter apresentam excelente desempenho e despacharam Club Brugge e Porto, respetivamente. Por fim, o Nápoles continuou a provar que o seu nível de jogo não era apenas um conto de fadas e esmagou o Frankfurt em casa.
