Liverpool has been performing quite well this season. Although their defensive performances haven’t been the strongest in the league, their offense has kept them in a comfortable position. This match was another example of that, as they went for the kill early, scoring a goal in the 10th minute and adding another in the 29th, which allowed them to control the game for the rest of the match.
Even though Everton managed to score in the 58th minute, they couldn’t find an equalizer, as Liverpool maintained control of the ball for most of the match.

Premier League Matchday 5 Roundup: Arsenal x Manchester City

Arsenal’s recent performance has been impressive, so it was surprising when the hosts conceded a goal early in the match, just nine minutes in, courtesy of Erling Haaland. However, Arsenal didn’t sit back; they dominated possession with 67% of the ball and continued to push for an equalizer. The fans were on the edge of their seats for over 80 minutes, and it wasn’t until three minutes into stoppage time that they finally saw their team score.
While splitting points in such a hard-fought match might have eased the fans’ worries, the gap at the top of the table continues to widen, and the Gunners will need to step up their game.
Result: Arsenal 1-1 Manchester City

However, mistakes followed, and Casemiro received a red card in the 45th minute, just before halftime. This gave Chelsea a glimmer of hope. They managed to score through Trevoh Chalobah in the 80th minute, but were unable to find a second goal to level the match.
