After starting the season with a solid road win, the Pittsburgh Steelers will play at home for the first time this campaign when they face the Seattle Seahawks. These are two teams that experts don’t rank very highly, but they’re looking to change that right away.
The Steelers are coming off a 34-32 road victory over the New York Jets, in a fantastic performance by quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Seattle, meanwhile, didn’t get the start they wanted, falling 17-13 in a tightly contested game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Por que apostar nos Steelers?
Since the preseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers had been signaling that this year they could make some noise after being eliminated early in last season’s Playoffs.
In their first game of the campaign, they pulled off a tight 34-32 win over the New York Jets, thanks to a spectacular performance from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who completed 22 of 30 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns through the air.
At 41 years old, Rodgers still has fuel in the tank, and in his first year with Pittsburgh, he’s looking to prove he can still lead a team to a Super Bowl—just like he did 15 years ago with the Packers.
The Steelers will need to address several aspects if they want that win over the Jets to mark the start of a successful run—especially in the ground game, which didn’t look sharp.
Precise and fast-paced attacks aren’t something this team is likely to showcase every week, so offensive versatility becomes essential.
DK Metcalf is another name worth mentioning; he recorded 83 yards in his debut and could be the answer to many of this team’s problems, even if they are clearly not among the favorites to reach the Super Bowl.
Why Bet on Seahawks?
The Seattle Seahawks fell short of reaching the Playoffs last year, and it doesn’t seem like their aspirations have improved much for this NFL 2025 season.
In their first game, they already suffered a 13-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, a team within their competitive range.
Seattle’s offense looked very poor, as Sam Darnold threw for 150 yards, completing 16 of 23 passes, but ultimately failed to find ways to break through San Francisco’s defense.
The only bright spots came from Zach Charbonnet, who scored a touchdown and gained 47 yards, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who hauled in nine receptions.
It’s clear that if this team wants to improve, they’ll need more from Darnold, who has already shown his quality as a quarterback in the past.
While the offense is under scrutiny, the defense did stand out, led by DeMarcus Lawrence, who recorded six tackles, including two for loss, and sacked the opposing quarterback once.
That’s the foundation for this team, which—just like their rival—doesn’t appear to have much backing from the experts when it comes to Super Bowl contention.
Final Betting Analysis: Steelers vs. Seahawks
Without a doubt, this matchup could be very tight, but playing at home will work in their favor—especially since Aaron Rodgers will want to keep proving to his new fans that he has what it takes to lead a playoff-caliber project.
