Why Bet on the Steelers?

It is not the best season for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but thanks to what is happening in their division, they are currently leading and holding a postseason spot. With a 6โ€“5 record, they sit first in the AFC North, ahead of the Baltimore Ravens (6โ€“6), who on Thursday suffered a surprising home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals (4โ€“8).

As mentioned, the Steelers are not in good form and are coming off a loss, with four defeats in their last six games. The most recent was against the Chicago Bears, 31โ€“28, after allowing a touchdown in every quarter, three of them through the air.

Mason Rudolph replaced Aaron Rodgers and finished with 24 completions on 31 attempts, 171 yards, one touchdown pass, one interception, and one sack. Coach Mike Tomlin stated that Rodgers is trying to recover from a wrist injury in order to play this Sunday.

However, rookie Derrick Harmon and Broderick Jones, both undisputed starters, will not be available after being injured in the last game against the Bears.

In that matchup, Pat Freiermuth caught the lone passing touchdown, while Jaylen Warren and DK Metcalf scored on the ground. It was the wide receiverโ€™s first rushing touchdown in his career.

Why Bet on Bills?

For the Buffalo Bills, this is also a complicated moment. They have lost two of their last three games, and with a 7โ€“4 record, they are second in the division, far behind the New England Patriots at 10โ€“2, and seventh in the conference, but a loss could drop them further.

In their most recent game, they were upset by the Houston Texans, losing 23โ€“19, despite the fact that their opponent scored only one field goal in the second half. The Bills did the same.

Josh Allen had an up-and-down performance, finishing with 24 completions on 34 attempts for 253 yards, but he threw no touchdowns and was intercepted twice, in addition to being sacked eight times and losing 70 yards. It was his third straight game with an interception and his second with two. It was also only his second game of the season without a touchdown, after coming off a performance with three passing touchdowns and three rushing scores against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The teamโ€™s touchdowns came from a 45-yard run by James Cook and a great 98-yard kickoff return by Ray Davis. Cook is the second-leading rusher this season (1,084 yards), third in attempts (199), and sixth in rushing touchdowns (6).

On the road, they have won only two of their five games this season.

Final Betting Analysis: Steelers vs. Bills

We believe this will be a close game between two teams that both needโ€”and are obligatedโ€”to win. We think the Allenโ€“Cook duo is operating more smoothly than their opponents, who also still face uncertainty over whether Rodgers will return. We believe Buffalo will take the victory.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have the Bills as the favorite, with a Moneyline of -185, while the Steelers are listed at +155.

The last time these two teams played was in the 2024 Playoffs, on January 15, and Buffalo won 31โ€“17, with Allen facing Rudolph. The all-time series favors the Steelers, 17โ€“13.

Go for a win for the Bills. If you bet $100 at -185, you will gain $54 for a total payout of $154.
