Jacksonville was one of the delightful surprises of the season, but they may be running out of gas at a dangerous stage.

Why bet on the Jaguars?

The Jaguars started the season on a rampage, a continuation of their late-season form last time out. Cojoining the end of the last edition regular phase and the start of this campaign, they won 11 times in 13 games, a surprising run of form for a franchise that, although traditional, isn’t a powerhouse.

However, the magic seems to be running down, and they need to reignite soon, as they have reduced their once great advantage to a mere game. Contrary to last season, the Colts and Texans have positive records and look pretty solid, so a 9-8 final score may not be enough to qualify.

In their last outing, they were surpassed by another surprise team, the Cleveland Browns. The two quarterbacks were excellent in their own way, but the Jags’ inability to score in the first quarter was their doom at the end. Trevor Lawrence completed 28 of 50 passing attempts, covered 257 yards, and had 3 TDs and interceptions.

Why bet on the Ravens?

The Ravens are the best team in the American Conference and are tied with three National Conference teams at the top of the overall NFL table. The team has been pretty competitive since last season, but the figure of a rampaging Bengals team eclipsed them. Now that Cinncinati has slowed down, they have taken the chance.

This team comes from beating the LA Rams in an excellent game that had emotions from beginning to end. Lamar Jackson and Mattew Stafford went all out and tried to pierce the rival defense, whatever the cost, with both boasting around 60% completion for passes and closing on a similar number of passing yards.

Baltimore seems closer to their best version of the last year, one that surprised everyone in the 2019 regular season. However, they’ll surely hope for better participation in the postseason after being eliminated at the first time of asking on that occasion.

Final Betting Analysis: Jaguars vs. Ravens

These teams rarely met, only seeing each other 23 times in NFL history. In that span, the Jaguars accumulated a three-game advantage, one that they’ll surely want to extend this weekend. However, in front, they’ll have one of the best teams in the entire league. So, it won’t be an easy task.

There is not much difference in these teams’ records. However, the odds go for a fairly straight forward victory for the visitors. Notwithstanding, this time, we’ll go for the surprise, as we believe that the Jags team that was steamrolling everyone is still there, especially considering their last game and a fairly relaxed Ravens squad will give them the chance to recover.

Go for a victory for the locals at 2.358. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $135.80 for a total payout of $235.80.
