The reality is, we don’t see any other outcome than a clean sweep in this final matchup, especially since they are facing the Colorado Rockies, who have had the worst record this season. Therefore, it should be a relatively straightforward series for the Mariners.

The Diamondbacks are currently trailing in the standings and may struggle as they face the top team in the National League West (NLW). While it seems unlikely that they can contend for the top of the conference at this stage, they could make things difficult for the Dodgers, potentially giving the Padres an opportunity to move into the division lead.

On the other hand, the Dodgers have bounced back from what appeared to be a rough patch. They have won six out of their last 10 games and are currently three games ahead of the Padres as this latest series begins.

We expect the Dodgers to come out strong in the first few matches to secure their position, then play a bit more conservatively in the latter part of the series.
