We have had multiple fun weeks, but now that we are going into the short series and the teams are showcasing their case on the season, we believe that it will all become more and more interesting as days go by in the current MLB season.

Currently, the Detroit Tigers, the New York Mets, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the San Diego Padres, and the Philadelphia Phillies are all leading as the top teams so far this season, and we are sure to follow some of them during this week.

The matches that some of these top teams are bound to go through will likely entertain the Baseball fans out there, so it is time for us to look deep into what is going down this Monday as we kickstart the 8th week of the MLB Season.

MLB Weekly Preview 8: Tigers vs. Red Sox

We’ll get a clash between two of the league’s top power hitters once Boston and Detroit meet on the field.

With the Red Sox on a 22W-20L run, we can only wonder if they could deal with a Detroit team looking spectacular at 26W-15L this year.

Detroit keeps finding ways to score runs, and they have a good lineup with Spencer Torkelson making great work at the plate. We believe it’ll be too much for the Red Sox to handle.

MLB Weekly Preview 8: Phillies x Cardeais

The St. Louis Cardinals stand as the second NL Central team, trailing the Chicago Cubs by just two games. However, they’re looking like one of the hottest teams, riding a seven-game winning streak and going 8W-2L in their last 10 games.

The Phillies have been advancing positions with a 10W-5L record over their last 15 games, and they’ll be looking to get this series back after a previous 2-1 loss in three prior games to St. Louis.

For this match, we believe that the Phillies have been hot with their bats and will be tough to stop behind a 13W-6L home record.

MLB Weekly Preview 8: Mets vs. Pirates

This one might be an easy prediction, mostly because this is a clash of teams going in completely opposite directions.

The Mets are one of the most successful teams in this current season, with a record of 26 wins and 15 losses that has them running pretty strong; meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Pirates are on a 14 wins and 27 losses run, which makes us believe that the clash with the Mets will be a nightmare for them to go through.

This is another clash with two teams on different tracks facing each other, as the San Diego Padres, who are on an amazing run of 25 victories over 14 losses, will be facing their nearby neighbors, the Los Angeles Angels, who are going through a 16-win and 23-loss run.

With the Padres on a hot streak and playing at Petco Park, we believe they will win with few issues.

This is bound to be a fun one, though, and the crowd should be eager to watch both teams as they fight for the win.
