The comain event sees Akhmadaliev vs. Rios fighting for the IBF and WBA Super Bantamweight Titles.

It can be recalled that the WBA ordered the Akhmadaliev-Rios title bout last April.

However, Akhmadaliev contracted COVID-19 and the bout was pushed back.

Why Bet on Murojdon Akhmadaliev

Akhmadaliev won the WBA (super) and IBF super-bantamweight titles by defeating Daniel Roman in only his 8th professional bout.

He successfully defended his belts by knocking out former IBF champion Ryosuke Iwasa last April.

Akhmadaliev has never seen the plus Moneyline sign in his pro boxing career and he had never closed at odds longer than -290.

Why Bet on Ronny Rios

Rios, meanwhile, is the WBC-NABF super bantamweight champion and has been such since 2019.

The 31-year old challenged for the WBC super bantamweight title in 2017 but lost a unanimous decision to Rey Vargas

Since he was upset as a -400 betting favorite by Azat Hovhannisyan in 2018, he has won four straight bouts, including a 6th round KO win over Diego De La Hoya in a fight where he closed as a +650 betting underdog.

Final Betting Analysis: Akhmadaliev vs. Rios

We have our betting token on Murojdon Akhmadaliev, as he is such a dominant fighter, but things are not as simple.

Rios will be the underdog in this one, but he feels good about his chances and is certainly not someone who should be counted out.

In recent outings, he’s looked as good and dialed in as he ever has in his career, but as we said, we are leaning over the betting favorite in this one.
