Bragantino managed to end this weekend on a high note, as they scored a 1 – 0 victory over Coritiba, which also allows them to get into the current 4-team draw for the second place in the scoreboards.

This was set once the timer hit the 19th minute, as Bragantino’s Sorriso hit through Coritiba’s defenses early, and then the rest of the team managed to stop any further attempts of the locals to draw the score.

With this, now the club enjoys a 2 games-win streak and is looking forward to going on the field once more and taking over the 2nd place just for itself.

Coritiba is currently in the Relegation zone and is going to need to pick up the pace before it becomes too late.

In this match, Flamengo came in as the 2nd placed team, and Cuiaba as the underdog.

The first half of the match was slow, as both teams were trying to set up without much results.

It was, however, once the 2nd half began that Cuiaba decided to stop wasting any time, and hit the first goal in the 46th minute.

They did not want to give Flamengo a chance and kept going forward, scoring a second goal in the 54th minute and even managing to close things up with a 3-0 after scoring once more in the 80th minute.

With this, their current streak went up to 4 wins in a row, and they continue to climb higher and higher in the Brasileirão.
