Matchday 21 of the Brasileirão 2023 was marked by the victory of most of the teams that are candidates for the highest positions in the table, as was the case of Botafogo, which remains firmly in the first place.
The same can be said of Palmeiras, which is living happy hours in the Copa Libertadores and for now seems to be the team that can try to overshadow the ‘Fogao’ in the fight for the Brazilian reign.
Flamengo slipped up and drew at the Maracanã stadium with Internacional de Porto Alegre, which was taken advantage of by Grêmio, who beat Cruzeiro, to move up in the standings.
At the bottom of the table, it is worth highlighting the performance of last-placed América Mineiro, who surprisingly beat São Paulo, who are experiencing a moment to forget in the local league.
