The difference in the Brasileirão table begins to shorten after the leader has lost and the most immediate pursuers won.
At the bottom, one of the most important matches was the one between América Mineiro and Corinthians, where Vagner Mancini’s team won 2-0 and managed to climb at least one position, although they are still in the relegation zone with 7 points, 1 less than the Timão, which is 16th.
Among other results from the weekend, Fortaleza and Bahía drew 0-0, Santos and Internacional ended 1-1, and Cuiabá beat Goiás 0-1 as a visitor.
