Why Bet on Brighton?

Brighton and Hove Albion, our hosts for the clash, have managed to get to the 6th spot in the scoreboards with 15 points, with a run of 5 wins, no draws, and 2 losses. This is an excellent start to the campaign but they come in from a disastrous 6-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa.

As attractive as ever under the leadership of master tactician Roberto De Zerbi, Brighton hopes to continue their progress this season and the fight for European places once again. After having had 3 wins in a row against Newcastle 3-1, Manchester United 1-3, and Bournemouth 3-1, they suffered a big setback last weekend. We cannot help but notice that the main issue is the defense, and the new additions like Igor don’t seem to be helping too much.

The Seagulls have already collapsed thrice this season, and when they do, they look poor. On the other hand, they still have the best attack in the championship with 19 goals scored after 7 days.

Why Bet on Liverpool?

Liverpool, are just a point over their next rival at 16th, but they are placed 4th in the scoreboards, with 5 wins, a draw, and a single loss. That loss was their most recent outcome, as Tottenham managed to beat them in a 2-1 clash.

The Reds must still do without intermittent Thiago Alcantara and the young Bajcetic, insufficiently recovered from their physical problems. Furthermore, the midfield Curtis Jones and the versatile attacker Diogo Jota are on suspension for Sunday.

Mohamed Salah (3 goals and 4 assists in PL) remains their major offensive asset this season. The other attackers Luis Diaz, Gakpo, and Nuñez have all been good, while summer recruits Mac Allister (ex-Brighton), and Szoboszlai (ex-Leipzig) are already core men in Klopp’s system.

Final Betting Analysis: Brighton vs. Liverpool

Both teams have serious defensive issues that they have overcome thanks to marvelous attacking power. However, we believe a more conservative approach is coming our way, as Liverpool is without too many key men and Brighton will try to be more organized.

The Seagulls know that the Reds are no strangers when it comes to thrashing their rivals, as they do just that against Manchester United regularly. So, we believe we’ll have a high pace game, but maybe without too many scoring chances. We’ll go for a 1-1.

Go for a draw at +290. If you bet $100 in a draw at such odds, you could get $290 for a total payout of $390.
