River was one of the best teams in this first phase of the Argentine tournament and hopes to be at their best against their historic rivals this weekend.
The Millonario finished the regular season of this first phase with a balance of seven wins, six draws, and one loss at the top of Group A, and their most recent match was a win against Instituto with a score of 3-1.
On the other hand, Boca Juniors reached this stage after suffering until the end, considering that they started the tournament with many problems. However, they finally managed to sneak into the top four of Group B after an excellent victory against Godoy Cruz on the last matchday.
