Why Bet on Palmeiras?

Palmeiras has gradually fallen apart in the Brasileirão since it started fighting hand-in-hand for first place and after a bad streak has fallen to sixth place.

The Verdão’s last match ended in a 0-0 draw against Internacional de Porto Alegre, making it five games without a win in the league, which has them 14 points behind the leader, Botafogo.

During this bad moment, the Paulista team conceded goals in four of five games and, as if that were not enough, was eliminated from the Copa do Brasil at the hands of São Paulo. In addition, Palmeiras have been inconsistent at home, taking 14 points out of 21.

The team coached by Abel Ferreira will have two important absentees for the match: forwards Dudu and Rony, both injured. Their places would go to Jesus Lopez and Artur.

Why Bet on Fortaleza?

Fortaleza has been a competitive team throughout the season, but their inconsistent results have them in ninth place, for now qualifying for the next Copa Sudamericana.

Their last game ended in a 1-0 loss to mid-table Cuiabá. In their most recent eight matches, the Tricolor do Pici have won four games and lost the others. However, the Castelao team’s away form is noteworthy, winning two games, drawing two, and losing three, the eighth best in this category in Brazilian soccer.

To visit Palmeiras, the team coached by Juan Pablo Vojvoda has injured defender Tinga, midfielder Hercules, and striker Pedro Rocha. Emanuel Britez and Ze Welison will replace the first two, as Rocha has been out since February.

Final Betting Analysis: Palmeiras vs. Fortaleza

Palmeiras’ bad streak must come to an end at some point and after two draws against Inter and Flamengo, home is the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways for Abel Ferreira’s side, who are usually superior to Fortaleza at home, losing only one of the last five matches.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Palmeiras as the favorite, as the Moneyline for them shows -166, meanwhile Fortaleza has +450 and the draw is +280.

The last duel between these two teams at the home of the Verdao ended in a 3-0 with goals from Raphael Veiga, Bruno Tabata, and Colombian Richard Ríos. An interesting fact about Fortaleza is that they have not scored more than two goals per game in eight matches and have been blanked four times.

Go for a straight win for Palmeiras in the Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -166, you will gain $60 for a total payout of $160.
