Why Bet on Philadelphia Union?

Philadelphia Union has been one of the most outstanding teams in the MLS regular season, occupying sixth place in the East with 34 points. They are only four points behind Nashville for second place in the conference.

The U is coming off a 3-1 loss to the LA Galaxy in its last game and is on a mini-losing streak of two in a row, however, it is still a great home team, winning its last four games, scoring 11 goals and conceding one. At Subaru Park, they have lost just once and drawn twice in ten opportunities.

The doubt for Jim Curtin’s team is the possible absence of German defender Kai Wagner, who had been a permanent starter, due to a hamstring injury. His place could go to Matthew Real.

Why Bet on NYC FC?

New York City had been in the postseason places until a while ago, but drawing seven of their last eight games sent them to 13th place with 26 points, the same as ninth-placed CF Montreal.

The Big Apple team’s last outing ended in a 1-1 draw against Columbus Crew, confirming the low number of goals they conceded. Only six goals have been scored in the most recent eight games, conceding zero in three matches. They have scored at least one goal in six matches in that same span.

The Citizens, coached by Nick Cushing, are without Thiago Martins, who is out with knee surgery, and James Sands, who is playing in the Gold Cup. Sands’ place in defense would go to Tayvon Gray.

Final Betting Analysis: Philadelphia Union vs. NYC FC

At Subaru Park we will have an interesting match, but in which the Philadelphia Union have the advantage, as they are one of the best hosts in the entire league and have practically beaten the last opponents they have received. Although New York City is unbeaten in eight games, the U is likely to win.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Philadelphia as the favorite, as the Moneyline for them shows -133, meanwhile NYC FC has +375 and the draw is +260.

The last meeting between these two sides ended in a 3-1 victory for Philadelphia, which has four wins in a row against the New York rival. In addition, the home side has scored three goals or more in seven of their last eight meetings.

Go for a straight win for Philadelphia in the Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -113, you will gain $75 for a total payout of $175.
