Why Bet on Pumas?

Pumas is coming off a poor showing in the Leagues Cup, losing in the round of 16 to Querétaro. However, in Liga MX they have managed to get some results to establish themselves in the upper-middle part of the table.

Their last performance was a dismal one, losing 4-1 to Juárez, Chivas’ current runner-up in the standings. With eight goals conceded, the Felinos is the fourth worst defense in Mexican soccer, an aspect that they will have to improve if they are to climb up the standings. Another negative fact about the Universidad Nacional team is that it has four games without a win in the national league and has conceded goals in its last three outings.

César Saul Huerta has been the most decisive player with two goals, but the team’s star reinforcement, Uruguayan striker Gabriel Fernández, is expected to make a difference, as he has five games without a goal.

The good news for coach Antonio Mohamed is that he can count on his entire squad for this weekend’s match.

Why Bet on Tigres?

Tigres are the current champions of Mexican soccer and have so far responded with a good start to the league, as they are fourth with eight points, the product of two wins and two draws. The last two matches gave the Auriazules six points, scoring four goals for and none against.

On the last date, they defeated Necaxa 3-0 with goals from André-Pierre Gignac and Luis Quiñones, a duo that has scored four goals in Liga MX. In addition, the Frenchman will be playing against his favorite victim, as he has scored 17 times against Pumas since he arrived in 2015 in Mexico.

With four points, the Monterrey team has been a good visitor, scoring four goals and conceding just one.

Uruguayan coach Robert Dante Siboldi so far has his full complement of players for this clash.

Final Betting Analysis: Pumas vs. Tigres

Pumas has been an irregular team so far in Liga MX, without being able to complete a performance that will satisfy their fans. Despite being at home, the UNAM team is likely to lose to Tigres, who have a Gignac who is always inspired against them.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Tigres as the favorite, as the Moneyline for them shows +135, meanwhile Pumas has +210 and the draw is +250.

The last time they played at the Olímpico Universitario stadium it was a 1-1 draw. Juan Ignacio Dinenno scored for the home side and, unsurprisingly, Frenchman Gignac scored for the visitors. This time, we believe the 1-2 for the visitors is the most likely result.

Go for a straight win for Tigres in the Moneyline. If you bet $100 at +135, you will gain $135 for a total payout of $235.
