That’s it! All the European soccer leagues have finished, and Serie A is no exception. We already know the four teams that will be present in the next Champions League for the Italian Serie A, Napoli, Lazio, Inter, and Milan.

In addition, Atalanta and AS Roma have qualified for the next edition of the Europa League, while Juventus will play in the UEFA Conference League.

While the bad news this season is for Sampdoria and Cremonese, as they are the two teams that have already sealed their ticket to the second division. Atalanta were playing for their place in the next Europa League in this final game of the season when they hosted Monza at the Gewiss Stadium. Everything seemed to indicate that it would be a really exciting match, and so it was; it did not disappoint for a single minute.

The Newcomers started the game by taking possession of the ball. However, their offense was unable to translate possession into scoring chances.

AC Milan completed this final round of Serie A matches with a crushing 3-1 win over Hellas Verona, which left the visitors on the brink of relegation. However, this victory was not enough for Milan to displace Inter, as the Neriazzurri also won on matchday 38.

Milan were the masters of the ball and the match in general, so much so that they had a 79% possession rate. However, it was not until the 45th minute that Oliver Giroud opened the scoring for the Rossoneri through a penalty.

In the second half, Marco Faraoni gave his team a chance to secure Serie A survival by scoring a stunning goal to level the score at 1-1. However, this did nothing but wake up Milan, who sealed the match with a brace from Rafael Leao in the 85th and 90+2nd minutes.

One of the last matches of the day was between Roma and Spezia, two teams playing for something very important this season. Roma needed to win to secure their place in the next Europa League, while Spezia needed at least a point to secure their salvation. However, La Lupa came from behind to win 1-2.

The Aquilotti started very well and with a lot of determination as they scored the goal that for a moment gave them a place in the Italian Serie A for the next season. Dimitris Nikolaou scored in the 6th minute of the match.

However, before going to the break of the first half, Roma managed to tie the match thanks to Nicola Zalewski. In the second half, Roma had complete control of the match and even came close to scoring on several occasions. Finally, in the 90+1 minute, Paulo Dybala converted the penalty to give the team the victory.
