The RBC Heritage is an annual PGA Tour golf tournament typically played in mid-April, the week following the conclusion of the Masters Tournament. As one of the longest-running non-major tournaments on Tour, the RBC Heritage has a rich history dating back to 1969.
Held at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, the RBC Heritage presents a completely different challenge compared to Augusta National. While the Masters tests players with elevation changes, length, and ultra-fast greens, Harbour Town demands precision and shot-making ability with its tree-lined fairways and small greens.

The Course: Harbour Town Golf Links
The RBC Heritage is played at Harbour Town Golf Links, a par 71 course measuring 7,099 yards. Designed by Pete Dye, this classic low-country course features narrow fairways lined with mossy live oaks.
Harbour Town’s signature hole is the 18th, a par four that curves along Calibogue Sound. The prevailing winds off the water make it difficult to pick out the club on the approach. In addition, the green is also one of the smallest on the Tour, surrounded by bunkers and water hazards. Players must hit an accurate iron shot for a chance at birdie or par.
The course’s coastal location also brings the sea breeze into play. Winds swirl through the live oaks and affect shots in unpredictable ways. Controlling ball flight and distance is difficult with the gusty conditions. Players who can fly the ball correctly will have an advantage. Winds tend to pick up in the afternoon, so beginners are rewarded if they get low scores.

2024 RBC Heritage Betting Picks
The favorites heading into the 2024 RBC Heritage are a talented group led by world number one Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler enters with odds of 2.375 after his dominant start to the PGA Tour season, including a victory at the recent Masters Tournament.
Close behind Scheffler is Rory McIlroy with odds of 6.00. McIlroy finished E22 at the Masters last week, but we all know his potential at major tournaments. With odds of 6.50, Patrick Canlay also seems to be recovering from a disappointing E22 at Augusta, where he couldn’t close out his first green jacket.
The reality is that, at this point in the season, any of these top names can take the win.
