Gegard Mousasi gave a blow of authority by defeating Austin Vanderford in the main match of Bellator 275. The middleweight champion easily retained his championship belt and asserted his favorite label from the start of the fight.
Austin Vanderford is one of the latest rising figures in Bellator. At 31, the Portland native had a record of 11-0. This made his rise to attention, so his company won his fight since the last defense of the champion.
A close fight against the undefeated American was expected, but Mousasi used his greater size to prevail in just 85 seconds of starting the fight. The applicant came out to close the difference in size. Every time he came in, Mousasi met him with hard shots that left his opponent out of options. With a powerful right hand to the temple, the champion left his challenger touched.
Vanderford was touched after the great impacts received by his opponent; tried to change the plan by going to the ground looking for comfort and the advantage of his game.
The middleweight champion stepped aside and kneed him in the head. He had everything in his face and the ground and pound the champion left no room for doubt, leaving him without opportunities to react to the forceful offensives he was proposing.
Mousasi spent the entire fight working with his hands, touching Vanderford with some clean boxing without using the legs and the ground fight. Vanderford started to throw a desperate takedown, but Mousasi got down and on top and then started throwing all kinds of punishments. The referee was there to rescue Austin from any further harm.

In the second 85 of the fight, Mousasi managed to send a weak and beaten Vanderford to the canvas who, with nothing to do, covered his face until the combat referee ended the fight, giving Mousasi a very good victory.
