Why Bet on the Browns?

The Cleveland Browns need a comeback at the close of the regular season to challenge for a postseason berth. They currently have a 7-5 record, while the North Division leader, the Baltimore Ravens, are at 9-3.

Their last performance ended with a 36-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, who did whatever they wanted. Quarterback Matthew Stafford got 279 yards on 22-of-37 passing for three touchdowns. Four times they reached the promised zone, while Cleveland could not count on the best version of their helmsman, as Joel Flacco was intercepted on one occasion.

Although they scored twice with Harrison Bryant and Jerome Ford, the Browns lost their second game in a row since they had just lost to the Broncos.

Losing to teams that are unlikely to make the Playoffs is costing Cleveland, which also has the Bears, Texans, Jets, and Bengals on the schedule.

Starting quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is listed as questionable for this game, as are Denzel Ward and Marquise Goodwin.

Why Bet on the Jaguars?

The Jacksonville Jaguars are the leaders of the American Conference South Division, performing above expectations for many.

However, their two-game winning streak came to an end last weekend, being outscored 34-31 by the Cincinnati Bengals. The Jaguars squandered a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter, eventually losing in a fifth-round tiebreaker. It was a costly loss for this franchise, as when they were tied 28-28, quarterback Trevor Lawrence suffered an injury that forced him to leave the field.

Up to that point, Lawrence had caught 22 of 29 passes for 258 yards and two assists for touchdowns to his teammates. He was replaced by C.J. Beathard, who could not avoid defeat despite missing only one of 10 throws.

Jacksonville is now 8-4, followed by the Colts and Texans at 7-5. It is a close group, where the Jaguars need to close well in the five remaining games.

For now, Lawrence is questionable, in the same condition as Brenton Stange.

Final Betting Analysis: Browns vs. Jaguars

The Jaguars are bad at home, but they thrive on the road and have not lost a game so far this season in that condition. Despite the doubt due to Trevor Lawrence’s injury, the victory will be for Jacksonville at the home of the Browns.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Browns as the favorites. The Moneyline for them shows -122, while the Jaguars have +110.

The last time these teams played was in 2020, and the win went to Cleveland by 27-25.

Go for a win in the Jaguars’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at +110, you will gain $110 for a total payout of $210.
