Why Bet on the Chargers?

After a difficult start, the Los Angeles Chargers have found their way to victory this season, winning two in a row and evening their record to 4-4.

In their last game, they defeated the New York Jets 27-6, even though quarterback Justin Herbert didn’t have the best performance. He got 16 of 30 passes while advancing a total of 136 yards. However, he did not throw any touchdown passes, but the good thing for his teammates is that the rivals did not intercept the ball either.

The one who stole the show was Austin Ekeler, who completed 14 carries, gained 47 yards, and scored twice. But he wasn’t the only one to score a touchdown, as wide receiver Derius Davis recorded one, with three returns and 104 yards.

There is no doubt that the Chargers have a good roster, but they need to make an impact to confirm their intentions in the regular season. The only relevant opponent they have beaten is the San Francisco 49ers, while they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, and Miami Dolphins.

Raheem Layne is out due to a ligament repair, while Joshua Palmer will not play due to a knee injury.

Why Bet on the Lions?

The Detroit Lions should qualify for the postseason and fight to try to reach the Super Bowl. That has never happened in their history since their last final was in 1957 when they were still playing for the NFL Championship.

Last weekend they rested, but before that, they beat the Las Vegas Raiders 26-14, positioning as leaders of the North Division of the National Conference with a 6-2 record.

To overcome the Raiders, Detroit counted on a great performance by quarterback Jared Goff, who completed 26 of 37 passes, advanced 272 yards, assisted for a touchdown, and had a fumble intercepted.

Jahmyr Gibbs had a touchdown, 26 carries, and 152 yards, being the great figure of the day, together with Sam LaPorta, who scored on one occasion.

In this way, the Lions put behind them the beating suffered (38-6) against the Baltimore Ravens and have won five of their last six games. Coached by Dan Campbell, the team has not lost when facing an opponent with an even or losing record.

Currently, David Montgomery is listed as questionable for the game, while CJ Gardner-Johnson is injured.

Final Betting Analysis: Chargers vs. Lions

The Chargers are coming from an important win and will play at home. However, the Detroit Lions are a better team and, therefore, will take the victory.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have the Lions as the favorites, with a Moneyline of -145. Meanwhile, the Chargers have +120.

The last meeting between these two franchises was in 2019, and the win went to Detroit by 13-10.

Go for a win in the Lions’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -150, you will gain $68 for a total payout of $168.
