Last Updated on December 1, 2023 6:26 pm by Erwin Noguera

The 13th week of the NFL Regular season is right here, and after a fun Thursday Night Football clash, we are diving into the matches that come our way this Sunday.

We’ll look at the clash featuring the AFC East-leading team, the Miami Dolphins. They are coming into the field with eight victories and three losses.

Their opponents, the Washington Commanders, are the hosts this time. However, the team tied at the bottom of the NFC East will need more than their public to face an in-form franchise.

This is a clash between the AFC and NFC East conferences, and we are eager to see how both teams fare on Sunday Afternoon.

When:

Sunday, December 3rd at 1:00 PM ET at FedEx Field

Why Bet on the Commanders?

The Washington Commanders are looking to snap a three-game losing streak, following a daunting recent schedule.

They lost to the Eagles in the last game of October, followed by a road loss in Seattle. They had a winnable game against the Giants two weeks ago but suffered a 31-19 loss. Last week, the squad was a huge 13.5-point underdog in an ugly 45-10 road loss against the Cowboys.

Sam Howell has been a bright spot in the recent defeats. The 23-year-old QB has posted at least 300 passing yards in four of his last five games, including 325 against the Patriots. The Young Man is an excellent project but, sadly, this franchise has shown many times before that it’s pretty hard for them to assemble a competitive squad.

Why Bet on the Dolphins?

The Miami Dolphins are in great shape at the top of the AFC East. They stand in first place, 2.5 games ahead of the Bills, who they lost to in October. The Florida team is seeking a third consecutive victory.

Miami lost to the Chiefs three weeks ago and have rebounded by defeating the Raiders 20-13. Later, they were a big 10-point favorites in a convincing 34-13 road win against the Jets last week.

Tua Tagovailoa continues to deliver. The 25-year-old QB has collected at least 249 passing yards on eight occasions this season, including 324 against the Patriots.

As mentioned many times before, this team’s Achilles heel is shown against any competent squad. They have been unable to compete against teams with a winning record, and that is bad news. The postseason is close, so that statistic would lead to an early exit.

Commanders vs. Dolphins Final Betting Analysis:

The Commanders’ pass protection is horrendous, and the Dolphins rank sixth in the NFL in sacks per pass attempt (10%). The Miami speed will be a problem for Washington, and the Commanders might be on the verge of their season completely imploding.

We take the Dolphins here, especially since Washington is 0-4-1 against the spread at FedEx Field. This match will help them build up towards the playoffs.

Go for a win in Miami Dolphins’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -450, you will gain $22 for a total payout of $122
