With just 2 days to go until the start of the Boost Mobile Margaret River Pro, the third round of the Championship Tour in Australia, the WSL has announced the first-round match-ups in both the men’s and women’s divisions. We’ll be looking at how Brazilian world champions Italo Ferreira and Gabriel Medina will fare in the men’s division, as well as Brazil’s Tatiana Weston-Webb and the USA’s Caroline Marks.

Italo Ferreira and Gabriel Medina, are the two seeded riders of the Boost Mobile Margaret River Pro, where they will have to wait a few days for the announcement of the guests to this tournament, to know who all the opponents will be. We know that one of the two invitees to the event will come out of the Drug Aware WA Trials, which will be held on April 27th at Surfers Point, in what will be the main wave of the championship. For now, Italo will face Jack Robinson, while Gabriel Medina will face his compatriot Adriano de Souza, while in the women’s contest Weston-Webb will face Keely Andrew and Maxy Callagham, and the American Marks, will have to face Malia Manuel and Amuro Tsuzuki.

Let’s review how they get to the Boost Mobile Margaret River Pro:
