Mexican Star Brandon “The Assassin Baby” Moreno is Killing It

Brandon Moreno is a Mexican mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, born on December 7, 1993, in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Moreno currently competes in the flyweight category in the UFC. On July 18, 2020, he was ranked # 1 in the flyweight category according to official rankings published by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Moreno, who is a fighter who came from a family where no one was an athlete, his family was dedicated to making piñatas in Tijuana. His dream since he was 12 years old is to be a UFC champion and raise the flag of his country.

His current professional record is 18 wins, 5 draws, and only 2 losses.

The last fight by the Mexican Brandon Moreno was on December 12, 2020, when he faced the Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo in the main fight of UFC 256 – Figueiredo vs. Moreno, this fight was listed as the best fight of the year 2020 at flyweight. This fight was very exciting from start to finish, and of course, we were delighted with 5 incredible rounds in which the final decision resulted in a technical draw. Both dealt many blows, went to the canvas several times and, neither of them kept anything. This fight represented the battle for the UFC flyweight championship.

  • Brandon Moreno Vs. Brandon Royval

Another fight where Moreno demonstrated his great offensive power was at UFC 255 – Figueiredo vs. Perez where he played the co-star fight against the American Brandon Royval. In this fight, both fighters came out aggressive, neither played defensively. Moreno managed to connect different blows and kicks to Royval’s face and body. For his part, Royval was not far behind, he attacked Moreno’s humanity several times, managing to put him against bars on several occasions, but an oversight on Royval’s part led him to be on the canvas with Moreno on top of him, connecting a series of blows that led to defeat at minute 4:59 of the first round.

  • Brandon Moreno Vs. Maikel Perez

Another excellent victory in the Octagon for Brandon Moreno was vs. Maikel Perez at the LFA 69 event – Perez vs. Moreno, debuting the main fight, Moreno started the fight somewhat distant, fighting a little defensively but, after receiving direct contact to the face from Perez, Moreno transformed and thanks to a great combination of blows he managed to finish by technical knockout of Maikel Perez in minute 1:54 of the 4 rounds.

  • Brandon Moreno Vs. Dustin Ortiz

A fantastic fight took place between Brandon Moreno and Dustin Ortiz at UFC Fight Night 108 – Swanson vs. Lobov. In this fight, Mexican star Brandon Moreno managed to demonstrate his entire repertoire of blows and, he wore the best of all his game against the North American Dustin Ortiz. The fight started somewhat evenly, both received different blows that would ultimately mean safe points from the judges, but, at minute 4:06 of round 2, Moreno managed to perform a Rear-Naked Choke to finish by Technical Submission to Ortiz and get a win that would bring him closer to the flyweight title.
