UFC Fight Night: Alexander Volkov vs. Tom Aspinall

Why Bet on Alexander Volkov

Alexander Volkov is fresh off a unanimous decision win against Marcin Tybura at UFC 267 in October.

The former M-1 Global and Bellator heavyweight champion and now the No. 6th in UFC HW is 8-3 under the UFC banner since making his promotional debut in 2016.

Volkov has high-level kickboxing ability and is likely to focus on employing it during this fight.

Why Bet on Tom Aspinall

Tom Aspinall is currently at No. 11 in the heavyweight rankings after dispatching Sergey Spivak with a first-round knockout last September.

Aspinall comes in from a seven-fight winning streak with each of those victories coming via finish inside of the first two rounds.

He’s a perfect 4-0 in the Octagon with three Performance of the Night bonuses.

His background in BJJ and boxing makes him a well-rounded heavyweight that combines crisp hands with advanced grappling ability.

Final Betting Analysis: Alexander Volkov vs. Tom Aspinall

There is no doubt that this match will be a banger, and it is likely to be a close contest, as both fighters are skilled and dangerous.

Aspinall should have a speed advantage on Volkov, but he has never gone past the second round in his MMA career.

His cardio will be tested against a high-volume striker in Volkov, who can keep the pace for the full 25 minutes if needed.

While Aspinall has a grappling advantage, he might find it tough to implement that approach against Volkov.

Don’t underestimate Volkov, as things could be pretty close, but our betting token goes to Aspinall.

UFC Fight Night: Arnold Allen vs. Dan Hooker

Why Bet on Arnold Allen

Arnold Allen is hoping for a win over the highly popular and tough-nosed veteran that will propel himself into title contention, and also send his popularity skyrocketing.

Allen is perhaps the best-kept secret of ranked fighters, but his attributes as a fighter cannot go overlooked because he is truly a legitimate top 10 ranked fighter in perhaps the strongest division in the UFC.

Why Bet on Dan Hooker

Dan Hooker is hoping for a return to the featherweight division after fighting the who’s who of the lightweight division. A victory will jumpstart a long-desired title run by his sizable fanbase.

Dan Hooker is an incredibly entertaining veteran, whose style resembles that of the New Zealand culture.

He loves getting into wars, and this is far more indicative of what makes him such a good fighter, that is, his razor-sharp elbows.

Final Betting Analysis: Arnold Allen vs. Dan Hooker

Allen has the advantage in defensive movement, speed, power, and grappling.

Whether it be bouncing in and out to land powerful strikes or using striking to set up his grappling, Allen has the greater number of paths to victory in this matchup.

And that places our betting pick on him, as we expect Allen to give Dan Hooker a bad time in his first featherweight match since 2016.

UFC Fight Night: Paddy Pimblett vs. Rodrigo Vargas

Why Bet on Paddy Pimblett

Pimblett has captured the attention of every MMA fan in the business with the confidence and self-assuring hubris he exerts.

His last and only appearance under the UFC banner resulted in an impressive first-round knockout win against Luigi Vendramini.

With a deserved maiden win in the UFC, Pimblett will look to dispatch Vargas with little ease in the Fight Night 191 appetizer leading into the main event.

Why Bet on Rodrigo Vargas

Rodrigo (12-4-0) is coming off the back of a decision win back at UFC 261 and will be looking to derail the popular Brit on his home soil.

Rodrigo landed on the right side of the judges’ cards against Zhu Rong as he honed his craft in expert fashion getting his hand raised.

Final Betting Analysis: Paddy Pimblett vs. Rodrigo Vargas

Every time that Paddy Fights in London, the arena turns into a whole different scenario, the love that his fellow brits have for him is amazing, and the confidence he gets from it makes him a dangerous fighter.

He is a major favorite for this fight, and our betting token is placed on him, as we expect to continue his winning streak in the UFC.

UFC Fight Night: Gunnar Nelson vs. Takashi Sato

Why Bet on Gunnar Nelson

After nearly 30 months away from the sport, Iceland’s Gunnar Nelson returns.

In his last fight in September of 2019, Gunnar Nelson suffered his most recent losses in a two-fight skid, both intensely competitive against Gilbert Burns and Leon Edwards who now hover over most of the division.

Why Bet on Takashi Sato

Having bounced between wins and losses in his last four, Sato has also been out for over a year, last competing in November of 2020.

The former Judoka turned MMA standout will look to start a new winning streak on his return, but he is facing tough competition in his current opponent.

Final Betting Analysis: Gunnar Nelson vs. Takashi Sato

This is an interesting fight for fans to analyze, as the two are both patients but also lethal when the opportunity presents itself.

Expect a game of tag on the feet where both look to sharp shoot and land on the other.

However, the largest hole in Sato’s game is that he is known to give up the back even standing, and that’s exactly where the veteran Nelson wants to be.

A smart and lethal game gives Gunnar Nelson our betting token for this match-up.

UFC Fight Night: Molly McCann vs. Luana Carolina

Why Bet on Molly McCann

McCann enters this matchup after a unanimous decision victory against Ji Yeon Kim back in September of last year.

This snapped her previous two-fight skid dating back to July of 2020.

Her fighting record shows 4 wins via KO/TKO and 7 by decision. She has been decent at defending on the ground but has one loss by submission so far.

“Meatball” is an aggressive fighter, who doesn’t back down from an exchange.

Why Bet on Luana Carolina

Carolina is seeking a third straight victory after recently winning by unanimous decision against Lupita Godinez back in October of last year.

The two-fight streak is good to see after she lost by first-round submission to Ariane Lipski back in 2020.

She has one submission victory and two KOs, along with five wins by decision.

If a fight goes the distance, most of the time she has come out ahead.

“Dread” has a striking accuracy at 50 percent but nothing for a grappling accuracy.

Final Betting Analysis: Molly McCann vs. Luana Carolina

This fight is bound to be fun, but in one case or the other, we expect “Meatball” McCann to have the upper hand due to her aggressive style.

She has the most experience under her belt and she also has the most finishes.

Both fighters usually have good chances when things go to the judge’s scorecards, but we expect things to go in McCann’s favor due to the aggressive style she has.

UFC Fight Night: Jai Herpert vs. Ilia Topuria

Why Bet on Jai Herpert

Jai Herbert earned his first UFC win with an impressive first-round knockout over Khama Worthy in October, breaking his two-fight losing streak in the UFC.

Herbert has got 9 out of his 11 victories by knockout.

Why Bet on Ilia Topuria

Ilia Topuria is unbeaten as a pro. His latest victory came against Jiu-Jitsu specialist Ryan Hall by Round 1 knockout.

Ilia Topuria stepped in to take this fight on one months’ notice.

He will be going up a weight class to 155lbs, which is an interesting move for an undefeated fighter.

Topuria has 3 knockouts and 7 submissions on his record.

Final Betting Analysis: Jai Herpert vs. Ilia Topuria

The fight styles favor Topuria except for the fact that he is going up a weight class.

Both fighters are finishers, but the size gives the power advantage to Herpert, however, Topuria’s favored weapon is the submission finish, particularly, chokes.

We will likely see Topuria rely on his grappling to get the finish, and our betting token is placed exactly on that.

Volkov vs. Aspinall Betting Pick: Tom Aspinall

Allen vs. Hooker Betting Pick: Arnold “Allmighty” Allen

Pimblett vs. Vargas Betting Pick: Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett

Nelson vs. Sato McKinney Betting Pick: Gunnar Nelson

McCann vs. Carolina Betting Pick: Molly “Meatball” McCann

Herpert vs. Topuria Betting Pick: Illia “El Matador” Topuria
